A: This Chimera product would be the center insert rather than the outer nylon ring that accepts the softbox rods.

A: Chimera Speed Ring Insert for Bowens Mount has an outer diamter of 143mm. The bowen connector is 100mm.

A: The Bowen-S mount is universal and industry standard, however the diameter of the adapter ring may very. To choose the correct adapter ring I would suggest to find the speed ring that you have on our website and take a look in accessories. If the speed ring that you have is from current Chimera soft-box then this is the adapter for Bowen-S that will fit the speed ring.

[Black] Been using these to mount a Tilta Mirage directly to the outer diameter of 80mm cinema lenses. Good and cheap. It's a plastic ring and I can't tell any significant difference between these and the Chrosziel ones I used to use years ago. 5

[Black] Bought this to compliment my Kase filter set. With an additional step up ring I can use it on all my lenses. Love the simplicity and ease of use of the magnetic ring. Great glass with no color cast has me making better photos. Highly recommended. 5

[Aluminum] I had always been skeptical about magnetic filter adapters, some of the early ones popped off too easily. This Kase set, however, has a nice grip on filters and it takes some violent shaking to make it pop off. Whereas I am still unlikely to equip all of my lenses with this for my frequently done daytime long exposures, I find this solution excellent for solar eclipses, where the filter needs to come off in a second and be popped back on in a second. Timing is everything on eclipses, and this takes the anxiety out of that filter change moment. In fact, it emboldened me to try shooting with a polarizer during the eclipse, to catch polarized corona light, and I bought a second filter ring for that. 5

[Aluminum] I ordered these adapter rings as I had rented some DZOFilm Vespids and needed an 80mm-95mm adapter for my SmallRig Matte Box. These fit the lenses perfectly and worked great for my shoot! Highly recommend. 5
