A: Hello Lynn this is Russell know it covers the back and goes right up to the edge to the front glass where your Lens cap.Very great item I love this best thing I've invested in use it all the time right after I get done using my lens put it on put it right into my lens case.

A: It is for the lens only. They do not make one for the lens plus a teleconverter
