If I recall correctly using an external charger (Watson charger) is somewhat faster maybe ca. 3hrs. I will note that all lithium ion batteries share the same characteristic - they hold a charge very well but when they run out of charge it is right now so I always carry a spare fully charged battery.

[Typical: 3.7 Wh] I bought this because I purchased a flashlight that will operate on either a AA battery (1.5 volts) or a 14500 battery (3.7 volts) and this battery works very well in this application. It fit in the flashlight just fine and it holds a good charge for a long time. I have only charged it up 2 times since I got it but I am very pleased and I will by again. 5

[Li-Ion] Having a battery this size that can be recharged with just a micro-USB cable and a power source is a boon if you travel. I use these cells in pocket flashlights that perform very well on increased voltage from a single AA-size cell. So far, the capacity claim seems to be well-founded, as I haven't had to recharge the first one yet. 5
