[0.075 lb] This is a windscreen that I needed for the Azden SMX-10. I don't really know how to review such a simple windscreen. It is basically just a foam material. Nothing spectacular. It gets the job done for the price. If you are using an Azden shotgun mic then you probably don't like spending lots of money in the first place which makes this windscreen a good replacement in case your original one gets a rip in it. 5

[0.075 lb] I've used this on my RE20 but also on my Rode K2 and it fits that one very well too. The foam is smaller-pore and very effective at reducing plosives. The RE20 is already pretty good with plosives, especially with proper mic technique, but this helps to completely eliminate them. 5

[Foam] I have installed several of these over the last few years and they work great. I just put another one in a chapel with very low gain before feedback. With the mic set to hyper cardioid they are able to get much better gain. The shock mount also helps with the podium noise and banging the top. 5

[Black] The description was fine and the product matched what I needed. The good news was that when it arrived, it was better than the one that had come with the mic! It fit much tighter and didn't slide off like the original one did (which is why I needed a replacement). Quick service. Good product. Nothing but positives! 5

[Foam] I'm using the RE-20 with the Electro Voice 309A shock mount and this windscreen bumps into the metal mounts of the shock mount. I don't think this is transmitting much into the mic, but it seems strange. I could move the windscreen further up the mic but that would leave about a 1 inch gap between the foam and the mic. Not sure if that makes an audible difference or not. Seems strange that this happens with the three components all coming from EV. 5

[0.075 lb] The windscreen is essential to better audio with this microphone. It cuts out a lot of background noise as well as wind noise. I would not use this microphone without this windscreen. The only complaint I have is cost, but if you take care of the windscreen it should last a long time. 5
