The black RS400i 4″ Coaxial Open-Ceiling Speaker from SoundTube Entertainment is a two-way ported speaker with an open-ceiling enclosure design that delivers effective low-end response (from 76 Hz to 22 kHz @ -10 dB). The BroadBeam technology in this speaker incorporates a high-frequency waveguide mated to a 1" convex titanium tweeter. The BroadBeam high-frequency waveguide delivers a consistent dispersion pattern across the operating bandwidth that offers optimum edge-to-edge coverage and reduced power needs.

The RS400i Speaker incorporates a low-profile grille and a five-position tap switch with transformer bypass position. It features a SpeedClamp self-locking cable grip for fast, easy, and secure installation. Designed for indoor and outdoor background to foreground SPL applications, the RS400i Speaker includes a single-point mounting system for rapid open-ceiling installations. The broad dispersion pattern of 125° and high sensitivity of 82.5 dB 1W/1m makes this speaker suitable for retail, restaurants, grocery stores, hotels, casinos, fitness centers, conference rooms, big box stores, museums, trade shows, airports, and other open-ceiling applications.

[95.5 dB @ 1 m] We used these speakers to replace our old, tired ceiling speakers. [7.2 lb] I used this speaker in a on campus weight room. Easy install. All parts included even the tile bridge. This speaker easily adapts to either a 70 volt or 8 ohm system. 5

[20 W] Great small format in-ceiling speakers. The sealed and ported enclosure protects them and provides a consistent bass response, unlike open back speakers. 70volt or 8ohm operation for a wide variety of commercial and residential applications. and... they sound good! 5

[40 W] I searched long and hard for speaker mounts to use for a set of Monitor Audio Bronze surround speakers that weighed about 11 pounds. Although I ended up having to cut down the plate so it could attach properly to the speaker, something I would have had to do for several of the mounts I considered, it ended up working well. The mounts are very strong, they are small and do not stand out, they provide limitless angling options, and I could not be happier with the install. It is hard fo find the perfect mount without being willing to perform some fabrication for speakers that weigh what mine weigh. 5
