[HDMI USB-C] Use this to extend control of a Camera and Telescope 100ft away in the garden. Telescope also has a USB to RS232 converter, which works perfectly over the extended link. No real complaints, it works as expected. Used to have a USB1.1 extender, but camera picture download was too slow, this makes a world of difference. 5

[HDMI RJ45] We tested the device over 100’ of cable with great results. The picture quality appears to be flawless and the fact that it only requires power on one end is definitely plus. Highly recommended! The small converters on each end are easy to hide and it was a simple install. 5

[Yes] I needed to run a USB cable from my computer to another device .. but the other device was about 30 feet away and normal USB just won't work at those distances. This little device allows you to run USB over a CAT5 (or CAT5e or CAT6) cable .. over a hundred feet. It plugs into a USB jack on the computer, thru an adapter to CAT5 cable, and on the other end connects to a small powered adapter and back to USB .. Works fine. A great way to extend the reach of USB. Completely transparent to the computer and to the external device .. no software required. Just connect and use. 5
