Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the power plug angled? I need something low profile and angled to fit behind a piece of furniture. The manufacturer's specs say it includes a "36 degree NEMA 15 plug". Does it stick out far from the wall?

A: Yes, the Furman PST-8 Power Station Home Theater Power Conditioner & Surge Protector - 8 Outlets, 2 Coax Pairs & Phone Line Protection has a low profile 90 degree plug.

Q: 2. What is the surge protection and other functional difference between this and the PST-6? I want to know if both units offer the same protection agains spikes, surges, lightning etc.

A: They do not offer the same level of protection. The pst6 is NOT simply a pst8 with fewer plugs. The pst8 has Furman’s most robust surge protection technology - the same that it uses on its larger, more expensive offerings. The Furman pst8 is the entry into the top tier protection offering and a great value for what you get. See the Furman site for detailed specs.

Q: 3. can i use this Furman PST-8 in korea ( 220V / 60hz ) ac power input condition?

A: The Furman PST-8 Power Station cannot operate above 135V of power.

Q: 4. The photo doesn't match it's description. Is it a pair of coaxial connectors or two pairs?

A: This would be a single input, and a single output.

Q: 5. can I use a short extension cord between my computer and the input socket of this unit to get around the limited spacing of the outlets? Will the extra cord limit the protection?

A: Yes, you can use an extension cord although I would recommend making sure it is rated to handle the device before using it.

Q: 6. This will seem like a silly question, but are the foam pads meant to be cut to size or can my H6 be safely nestled between the foam pads?

A: There is no need to trim the foam. Compatible with: AC-3, F1-SP, F4, F8, F8n, F-Control, H5, H6, Q8, R8, TAC-2R, U-24, U-44, and UAC-2 recorders

Q: 7. what king of warranty/guarantee does this product have?

A: This product comes with a 3 year manufacturer warranty

Q: 8. can I use a short extension cord between my computer and the input socket of this unit to get around the limited spacing of the outlets? Or will the extra cord limit the protection?

A: Additional cords may prevent protection. It is one extra item that can fail and hurt your equipment.

Q: 9. Will a Zoom F6 fit good in this? Currently buying my first set of sound equipment and want to make sure I get the right case.

A: Yes, the Zoom F6 recorder does fit inside the Zoom SCU-40 universal soft-shell carrying case

Q: 10. Will this work on home stereos and reduce the hiss/hum coming from the speakers when no input is selected just everything powered on. Guessing its from the amplifier. Thanks

A: You can give it a try but more than likely you have other issues (e.g., grounding; interconnection; equipment like your amp) causing the hiss and hum.

[Polyester] I have been think to get one of this for my camping trip. mainly to run electric blanket and water boiler and instant pot and things like that while I am out there without the hook up. as well as recharge my camera battery, laptop and other portable electronic devices.

One night I saw Jackery is having the 15% sale so I went into B&H to order it but I did not see the sale price here, so I called the customer service department and within 3 minutes i got a price match and order was place. and the product show up about a week later.

The Jackery explorer 1000 arrived with 3 layers well protected boxed, yes, 3 layers, first is the inner product package. then a very well made middle layer shipping box, then another strong outer shipping box.

I have used the Jackery Explorer 1000 on two trips already and so far it works really good, it takes about 6-7 hours to fully charge it if totally dried, but I normally keep it charging while I am driving so i never run it completely down, I ran a electric blanket one time in my car, and after about 6 hrs of sleep it still have about 60% left. I test it with my small rice cooker and it used about 30% of the battery only. i charge two cell phone always completely dead after a long hike, the indicator says only killed 1% of the battery. I have also try to use that for tire inflator/compressor, small vacuum cleaner, a powersaw, coffee maker........ the lit goes on and on, so far so good, only thing I don't know for sure is how good the battery will be after heavy use for a year.

[Black] I bought the EcoFlow Delta 2 as protection against a power outage. Not having experienced a power outage since my purchase, I can’t report how well it would perform in one or how long it will last. What I can report on is that it is easy to set-up and connect to my phone and iPad, and it charges remarkably fast. I tested it under a light load (literally, lights), and the discharge rate was minimal. Testing it by connecting a 1450w space heater did drain the battery swiftly, so that’s not a wise use of the unit.
Since gas-powered generators are dangerous, and each winter, there is at least one local news report of someone dying from a gas generator being run in a garage or porch, and they must be refueled every four hours, I feel that this 120v battery is the prudent and inexpensive way to prepare for an outage.

I have yet to test the solar panels I purchased with the Delta 2.

[Black] Our timing was not great, 4 days after placing the order for a power station a wind storm caused a multi day power outage. After many days of frustration we found that we also need a second power station and solar panel. Can’t wait to feel prepared for the next storm

[Polyester] Have only tested it at home, but it has worked great so far and the app works fine. If you are into heavy camping, you might want to think about getting a model with more power storage.

[Black] Great portable power when needed. It’s a small package but can power a few essentials when needed. I will be purchasing another with more solar panels for power independence

[Black] Great device. 1000 watt hours only lasts so long though. I use it to power my Glacier cooler for longer periods with solar input.

[Polyester] We do have occasional power loss and was looking for a clean solution for minimal devices. You can go from 100$ to thousands of $ for a good solution. I invested in Jackery Explorer 1000 for emergency needs. Lot son YouTube reviews out there and this unit has received great reviews. Should be plenty in case of a powerless to power light and many critical appliances. Holds the charge very well.

[Black] This is my second EcoFlow purchase and I continue to be impressed with the quality and performance of the product. We lose power semi-frequently and this Delta 2 + extra battery is perfect to keep our refrigerator running during outages.

[Black] ECOFLOW unit charges quickly, it has enough electrical outlets, and charges the items I need for an emergency. Great sturdy product. I will use it about a few times a year to make sure it is operational during down times.

[Polyester] Outstanding initial quality but not yet fully tested but my river max is simply fabulous so I have very high hopes for my Delta2. Waiting to purchase a Delta Max battery to boost my capacity
