[Aluminum] For the price this is a great package. It is simple to set up, built to be stable and most importantly, it works. I use it inside for non-profits mostly and beats having adlib remarks. Software loads easily and works well. While it would be nice to have greater flexiblility in crawl speeds the software does allow for recording pauses so that speaker timing works. Would recommend to a friend.

[Aluminum] This is a great teleprompter. Quick to set-up, and very adaptable. Makes a huge difference when interviewing non-professionals on video. My only complaint is that the Prompter People do not make a good custom case for it.

[15"] This is a great teleprompter for the price, honestly you wont find a better option in this price range, also the support that prompter people gives is great. They helped me setup the prompter, and the software. 

I read an earlier review that mentioned flip-q lite, but was happy to learn that they have not been sending out flip-q lite for a long time, and now the full version of flip-q is provided for free with the prompter. The software is easy to use, and the fact that monitor automatically flips the image makes it even easier to do things like power points or interrotron setups with this prompter. 

All-in-all Im very happy with my purchase.

[Aluminum] I've been using this Teleprompter for over 3 years now and it's taken a beating and lasted a long time with no issues.
I love being able to use it as a standard teleprompter and with the removable back sled I put a rapid adapter on the bottom adapter plate and it's now a freestanding teleprompter, so if there's a shoot with a lot of BRoll and only one camera we can knock the interviews out without having to remove our camera from the tripod, just putting the teleprompter on a junior roller and moving it into shoot.
I also love that prompter people is available for real live phone support and they respond to emails fast usually within 30 or so minutes.
I can't think of any other video equipment company with this level of service.
Overall this has been my favorite teleprompter I've ever owned and it's well worth the price (It's actually cheaper than other teleprompters of this level of quality).

[15"] So, this is my second Prompter for our set. The other is a 15 Ikan. Though the Ikan is built out of better materials, I prefer this Desview 21 as does our talent. The material is of a cheaper plastic, however it is a lot easier to setup and does its job very well can is half the price.


It's a lot less of a hassle to travel with and setup than the smaller, better build quality, Ikan.


So know, you will not be getting high quality components in this price range, but if your goal is to gain a prompter with a large reading area that is easy to setup and works well, this is for you.


Please Note that we did NOT use the prompter software that this came with, so no comment on the software. We use one of the highly rated Mac Apps for our software.

[15"] I wanted recommend this company and their products, to anyone in the market for a reliable prompting system. My company owns three Prompter People systems, a Q-Pro, a Flex Plus, and a set of presidential paddles. Our Q-Pro has been in service since 2007 and we are still using the original monitor. We have never unboxed the backup. The 17 Q-Pro has been all over the world. It is super simple to setup, and can be run in the field from a portable battery pack, all day. Our clients are very demanding and we don't have time to deal with temperamental equipment or software, which is why I recommend this company and their products so highly.
The reason I am leaving this review, is that I recently ordered a Flip-Q software dongle to replace one that came apart after 15 years of use. (Ironically, the software still worked, the USB drive just plugged in without its external case.) They immediately sent me a downloadable software license to use while the dongle was in transit and we never had an issue.
Everything is well made. We have NEVER had an issue or failure with electronics, or component parts. I rarely leave reviews, but when a company goes above and beyond from a service standpoint, and has a great product (multiple great products), I want to make sure other know about it.

[15"] I've been using teleprompters as a key component of my shoots for the last 4 years, and have relied on my ikan hdmi monitor style prompter ever since. The issue with that one is it relies on these tiny machine screws to keep the whole thing together, so there are a lot of weak spots where I've had to retap and re-screw to prevent it from crumbling. This PP branded prompter is a great replacement. All the same features of the computer-to-hdmi-to-monitor style control, but with one hinge that has a safety stop and minimal threaded weak points. Also I'm loving the 15 size and enhanced font!

[15"] I have been using this product for more than 9 months now and it works great. I produce a number of corporate videos each month, I needed something that was high quality, that worked right everytime. Corporate executive's time is very valuable, the last thing I needed was a prompter to not perform. There are enough other things to worry about on set or in studio, the prompter shouldn't be one of them. This product does just that. The software that comes with it works. It won't win any awards for being pretty or eye catching but it gets the job done. I would by this product again.
