This 7.2' Air-Cushioned Light Stand from Neewer provides extra security to your setup by making it more stable while protecting against sudden drops. Q: 2. Is anyone else having a problem collapsing them? Everytime I try and put them away the air cushion feature keeps popping it back up and making it impossible to close.

A: We had the same problem. We used it for one shoot and could not ship it home because the adjustable bar was stuck. It no longer fit in the our shipping box. Sad.

A: The three stands fit nicely with space to spare. An additional 8' light stand will fit. I do not think a bigger stand will fit.

A: B&H does not stock this stand to check however going on other stands the footprint diameter should be roughly 45" but because the manufacture does not publish the footprint diameter this may be a bit more or less. It is just an estimate.

[Yes] Rock solid with my monolight and softbox. The span between legs when set up is 38. Uses lever locks like a tripod rather than screw locks. These work well and are quicker. The stand come with a wrench to tighten these if necessary. Overall, a much nicer and sturdier stand than some more expensive Avenger stands that I own. 5

[5/8" Receiver] This is one of those things where you think the stand I have is good enough. That light stand I bought at a yard sale works just fine! Maybe it does, but we're putting expensive things on these stands, might wanna consider a good one. I was considering getting the lightest and most portable for my on location shoots. But then you need to haul around heavy sandbags and most of the compact ones seem to have a wobble to them. This one from small rig not only goes to nearly ten feet and is air cushioned, but it opens up with a nice wide base. Very stable! And the lever lock is a nice touch so you're not cranking on twist locks and risking them breaking. It doesn't pack up as small as others, I think it's around 3 feet folded. But it definitely gives me confidence and assurance that it's not going to fall over 5

[Yes] I bought this with the Air-Cushioned Light Stand (Black,10') by Impact; I have occasional use for these in photography, but I mainly use them as a general-purpose lamp, and for this they're great! The stand is very sturdy, and the light is bright and great, and dimmable, and consumes little power (20W). Tilt it down for reading, or up to light the room. The only problem is that the stand takes up a lot of floor space; not idea for squeezing between a sofa and a wall. Much cheaper than a high-quality floor lamp, much more functional, and has a certain industrial charm. 5

[5/8" Receiver] I use this with an umbrella and speedlight and it works perfectly. It is sturdy and trustworthy. Very easy to adjust and quick and easy to store. Perfect for home studio or outdoor photography. You will need to get an umbrella bracket with adjustable shoe to use flash and umbrella. 5

[Yes] I like this SmallRig light stand a lot. It is much sturdier than I expected, which makes it heavier than expected, but that is actually a good thing because I think it might be more robust than other cheaper equipment I have used in the past. The levers to lock the legs at a particular height might appear to be too loose (or tight) when you get it, but you get a wrench with the stand which you can use to easily adjust the tension required to close the lever. This works very well and the metal levers seem very sturdy and good for long-term use. The dampening on the segments seems to be good and helpful. The support legs have a very wide stance and seem as though they will be good at preventing the stand from tipping over, unlike what I have seen on travel-oriented stands. 5
