[2 Hours] I replaced my Flashpoint Li-on iii r2 ttl Flash for this Flash after buying a Z8. I was a little apprehensive about buying it since some reviews said that it took forever to boot up.


This new 2024 Universal M version boots up quickly. It is pretty simple to set up for your camera. In the top left hand corner just choose you camera brand and it attached to the Z8s hot shoe without any issues.


Westcott is said to have a more accurate reliable temperature rendering. I went with this recommendation by a B&H representative after I saw it on dale for 274.00.


It renders nice accurate flashes and it boots up pretty fast. Yes, you have to turn it on and press the on software symbol on the screen; However this is done in a matter of seconds.


Buy what you like but don't be afraid of this unit. It also has master slave trigger capability.
B&H sent it to me in one day and I received it by late morning.

[11.1 VDC] I have had a lot of speedlight flashes and this is the best yet. Simple to setup on my Canon Mirroless. The menu system is so simple compared to the convulted complex canon speedlights. You have two choices manual or TTL. Once in that mode you either ask for more or less light. TTL you can go up 3 or down 3 from zero. Manual you can go up 10 plus 10 1/10ths or down. Simple. You have a modeling light than you can use with or without flash. Puts out plenty of light on both flash and modeling light.

[300 Cycles] I have used about every on-camera flash modifier there is, this one is the best so far. The dome attaches very securely. I mainly use the dome with my flash FJ II in a vertical/bounce position and I am very satisfied with the results. Strongly recommended.

[2 Hours] I'm a big fan of the Westcott lighting system - great products with reproducible results every time. Since my FJ80 is often used as a on-camera strobe I needed the confidence that I could get through a shoot without losing the power of the unit. The extra battery allows that. They take a long time (like 2 hours or so) to charge, so the spare is vital. I also shoot with it off-camera using the remote (along with my set of FJ400 strobes). It's certainly more convenient and cost effective than a bunch of AA batteries!

[300 Cycles] This battery will double the number of flashes available for your FJ80 without needing to recharge anything. When your current battery in the flash is temporarily exhausted, just lift it off the FJ 80 and insert this extra battery in its place; couldn't be simpler.

[11.1 VDC] I just received my Westcott FJ80IIM and so far I love it. I am still learning but I believe it will suit me very well.

[1.05 lb] Is good to have a better soft and harmonic light I just bough for my FJ80 II M, not a problem at all to use it and attach

[2 Hours] I am very pleased with this speedlight, it is easy to sync with the Westcott controller. It does a nice job of high speed sync and easy to adjust power. I was able to trigger it from over 100 feet away. I was able to easily trigger it in a three light system.

[2 Hours] Doing a lot of children's images on the go I like how this helps with making my FJ80 a better lighting machine. I don't have the direct flash that makes the kids jump or complain about the light in their eyes. An excellent addition to my flash.

[11.1 VDC] The FJ80 II has served me well so far, using it with a Nikon D850. The interface (touchscreen) is very easy, and output is great. Use this thing with a flash bender on camera or as an off-camera flash, and it performs great.
