Q: 1. This battery is not listed as compatible with the D800. Is this really true? If so, why not? Thanks.

A: No. The following battery is compatible with the d800. The EN-EL15c is backward and forward compatible. The slightly modified EN-EL15b battery was released to coincide with the launch of Nikon's new mirrorless Z 6 and Z 7 cameras in the latter half of 2018. All three batteries can be charged with the MH-25 or MH-25a battery charger but cannot be charged via usb.

Q: 2. Is the clamp metal or plastic

A: This is made of a plastic, probably an ABS, with metal components.

Q: 3. How long does one charge last?

A: The Genie II battery takes 3hrs to charge, it must be charged within the unit. Battery life in timelapse mode is 12-14 hrs. Battery life in video mode is 8hrs. Please contact support@syrp.co.nz and we can answer any further questions.

Q: 4. How do you charge the spare battery for the Genie II? Is there a wall/usb charger?

A: Please make a separate battery charger. This is a must on a professional set!

A: Yes. The Watson Duo LCD Charger for L & M Series Rechargeable Batteries will charge L & M Series Rechargeable Batteries made by Anton Bauer and many other companies.

Q: 7. I have noticed that the charger (DLC) displays different battery capacity depending on charging bay used: right and left. For example: same battery shows 100% capacity when tested in the right charging bay but it shows only 95% when it tested in left charging bay. It means the left bay will never give a 100% capacity? What is the reason for this inconsistency?

A: It could be the read out for that particular bay on your unit. If the battery read out doesn't reach 100 percent over time, please send an email to cs@bhphoto.com with your order number on the issue.

[COB LED] It is my favorite bike headlight. I got a second one to further improve the light when I commute to work, with parts of my route poor illuminated. On maximum brightness it lasts initially 3 1/2 hours, and about 2 1/2 hours after 3 use of frequent use. The maximum charging time is about 4-4 1/2 hours (it gets hot when charging, but it is normal). The headlight is very rugged. One time my first survived headlight survived a fall on the asphalt with when the light was badly impacted and scratched, but still worked fine. On another occasion I got in the rain with the rain cover of the charging connector, perhaps, not covered. The light either stopped working or worked intermittently. But after I left it to be dried, it seemingly regained its full function. I compared this light with some other bright lights, including one that has removable rechargeable batteries (an attractive option to have spares for longer rides), but eventually concluded I like this Nitecore BR35 the best. I now used two of them on each side of the handlebar! Highly recommended. 5

[IPX6] We bought this for daytime biking. The mount is easy and locks solidly, we tested battery life immediately until it died and daytime flash was exactly as advertised 14 hours, charging was fairly fast. 150 lumen brightness in flash makes you easy to see, though if available i would go for 250-300 lumens with a slightly wider beam. Good value for money. We are pleased with the 2 we bought. And as always B&h service and delivery time was superb. 5

[1.7 oz / 48 g] I bought this to replace the hard wired headlamp on my e-bike, when the wire snapped. I figured I’d try this, and if I didn’t like it, I’d get out the soldering gun and hard wire a new light onto the bike. No need! This light is much brighter and has several modes. And with the easy disconnect, my son takes it off and uses it for a flashlight when walking our dog at night! Great purchase! 5

[IPX6] This Fenix headlight provides plenty of light for most night rides with a very wide beam coverage. The lights build quality is excellent and the handle bar mount is solid. No reason to spend way more for a higher output light. This light is great for the price. Highly recommend and fast delivery by B and H! 5
