Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. By measurements, the Ruggard Hunter Pro 55 should fit a Sony a7 iii with a Tamron 28-200 lenses, but does it?

A: Yes, the Sony A7iii with the Tamron 28-200 will fit.

Q: 2. Would it be a good fit for a D750 with battery grip and 24-120mm lens attached?

A: I'm not positive about your setup, but I have a D7200 with an 18-200 lens and it fits great. Can't say enough good things about this bag.

Q: 3. Will this bag hold a Nikon D7000 with 18-300 zoom attached?

A: I am not sure about this question but I bought the bag for a canon 7D MK 11 with the 24-70 mm lens. They both fit in perfectly, I like the bag because I also have room for a spare battery, 2 memory card slots, filter, card reader and a multi hub for downloading my files on my laptop. I like the bag because it's a good all round bag that protects my camera when I don't need all my kit.Hope this was in some way helpful.

Q: 4. Would the Ruggard 65 be large enough to handle an XH1 with 50-140mm Lense - Hood Reversed?

A: Yes, it will hold that equipment.

Q: 5. Based on a review it sounds like it is only possible to turn on the lights using this remote at 10% power, then you have to ramp up to 100% in 10 steps, is that correct? I often use lights in situations where I need to be able to quickly toggle them on at full brightness.

A: If using the remote with a Genaray PortaBright Daylight lamp head, the dimming range is from 0-100% in 10% increments.

Q: 6. Will a Nikon D850 with a grip and a 28-300 lens fit in this bag?

A: The Nikon D850 DSLR Camera with the battery grip with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens attached will not fit in the Ruggard Hunter Pro 55 DSLR Holster Bag. Instead, get the Ruggard Hunter Pro 65 DSLR Holster Bag, BH #RUPHB665B.

Q: 7. what is the country of origin?

A: As per records, the Ruggard Hunter Pro 65 DSLR Holster Bag is made in China. Please note that this information is subject to change at any time.

Q: 8. Will this fit Canon EOS R8 with a Canon RF 24-105mm f4 L lens attached?

A: The Ruggard Hunter Pro 55 DSLR Holster Bag will fit the Canon R8 camera with the 24-105 f4 RF lens attached.

Q: 9. Would this fit a 80D with a be-14 battery grip and a 18-135 kit lens?

A: Yes

Q: 10. would this fit the Nikon d810 or the new Nikon mirrorless dslr?

A: The Ruggard Hunter Pro 55 DSLR Holster Bag, B&H # RUPHB655B, is designed to accommodate a Pro DSLR camera with a built-in vertical grip (or an external battery grip) and a built-in lens up to approximately 4 inches (10.16 cm) in length. This would fit the Nikon D810 with or without a battery grip, but may be overly large for the Nikon Z6 or Z7 Mirrorless Digital Camera (though it may depend on the lens you are using; if using a longer lens, it may be adequate for your usage needs).

I have this remote, previously found in my Genaray Powerhouse. I also already discovered that this remote works with other Genaray lights such as the PortaBright the day I got it by borrowing it from my Powerhouse light, but good to know it also works with the Endeavor. The PortaBright doesn't come with remote, so, that's an additional purchase unless they started including it...

Overall, its a remote and it it highly necessary to have one! BTW. I've always found that a remote control in hands is far better and more reliable then those lights that only offer App control and don't come with a control at all...
[I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

As you probably read in the description, it works on both, bi-color and non bi-color lights. In my case, ALL lights I'm using with this remote are 5600K locked, non bi-color. The point is... Even if you accidentally set the wrong color temperature on the remote, it doesn't affect the light working, nor does it cut out responding, which is great. If you have a PortaBright bi-color, then you'll be able to enjoy also playing with the color temperature controls on the remote. (I with my PortaBright version was a bi-color)

LOVE that beautiful BRIGHT green illuminated display!

Cons: Power button: Only turns off the remote, not the light.
I really would like to see future remotes from Genaray to be able to power the light off pressing a separate Power Button. To turn the light off from the remote, you have to press the down arrow until 0ff appears. The additional downside on that, is that there's no way to restart the light back at the exact brightness. If there was a power button that did both, turn the remote and the light off (like the Godox SL-60W does), it would resume the same brightness it was from powering the light off.

Another one is the duration of the backlit light on display. 5 seconds is too early for the green backlight to go off. I wish it lasted at least 15 seconds.

This bag is the perfect size for my Nikon D7500 with Nikkor AF-P 70-300mm lens attached. Well built and and has conveniently placed pockets. I particularly like the built in rain cover.

I have a large padded square projector case that I use as a portable home base for my Nikon gear. For in the field, I used a typical rectangular camera bag w/ shoulder strap. It always knocked around with every move I made and got in the way of my shooting. A good deal of the time I would have to take it off my body to access my gear. A major pain and loss of time. With the Hunter Pro 65 my camera and attached 28-300mm lens is complete and solidly protected with quick access at any time. The entire Hunter Pro bag fits perfectly into my Home Base bag. For extra gear (a second lens, my flash, cleaning kit, etc.) I use a fanny pack with a large pouch. I run the fanny pack belt through the Hunter Pro belt loops, throw the shoulder strap over my head and under one arm then lay the belt over each shoulder strap and buckle the fanny pack belt. All my gear is synched snugly to my lower chest and mid-section fully accessible. My best on the go any where field bag ever!!

I previously used Tamrac holsters for my Nikon SLR cameras and was disappointed they are no longer available. However, the Hunter RG Pro 55 Holster is well-padded and durable with metal strap clips and double zippers on the top and front. The interior width (7.5 in) and height (6.5 in) allow easy access for your hand to reach in and grab the Nikon D750 which has dimensions of 6.0 in (w) and 4.5 in (h). In addition, the length (8.0 in) is more than enough for the D750 with a Nikkor 24-120 lens with HB-53 hood reversed; and, the 8.0 in length just allows the camera and lens to fit with the hood in forward (extended) position. I purchased two PortsBrights a few months ago for product photography and have been waiting for this remote to be in stock.
Simple and easy to use, works as promised and also allows you to power down the light between shots (but still wirelessly connected for the next shot). An indispensable part of my lighting set-up. It probably should be included in a lighting kit. Nonetheless, it was money well spent.

This small camera bag comfortably fit my D7500 with 18-300 travel lens. Nicely padded inside and there was enough room in the main compartment for large camera strap, battery charger, lens brush and 2 extra SD cards. Outside pockets hold polarizer in plastic case, extra lens cloth, notepad and pen. Fits inside my backpack for travel. Well made product.

Really great bag and the features are great, including the nice rain cover thing thats built in. A seam did burst on mine after I crammed three filter cases into the small pocket in front, which in restrospect is definitly user error and not the fault of the bag. Everywhere else has stood up to a suprising amount of punishment. Great buy!
