The 75 x 75mm Haida NanoPro MC ND Filter 75x75mm 4-Stopis designed for the Haida NanoPro MC ND Filter 75x75mm 4-StopM7 filter holder. This square neutral density filter is 2mm thick and features a 16x filter factor, providing a 4-stop reduction in exposure across the entire image. This allows you to slow down shutter speeds to capture movement in your photos and use wider apertures in bright lighting situations.

Made of optical glass, the filter is designed to provide a neutral performance that leaves no color cast and preserves image sharpness. Applied on both sides are several layers of coating which help reduce ghosting and reflections. The coating also makes the surface resistant to scratches and repels water, making it easier to clean when using the filter in inclement conditions.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. On a tripod, if I acquire focus, then unmount the lens, put the 10stop filter in, re-mount the lens... will the camera regain focus where it was.... or will I somehow now need to refocus through the 10stop filter? If I do need to refocus through the filter, has anyone had any success focusing through a 10 stop filter on a mirrorless camera?

A: It would best to pre-focus the shot then record the focus settings as you may need to re-focus the shot once the filter is attached.

Q: 2. Will this fit the 14-24mm 2.8 GM lens ?

A: If you're referring to the Sony FE 12-24mm f/2.8 GM Lens, these filters are not compatible with it.

Q: 3. Can the adapter ring be left in place on the back of the lens if no ND filters are being used? Does the thickness from electronic contacts to the camera change thereby affecting image quality?

A: The filter holder for this Rear Lens ND Filter Kit can be left on the lens and would have no effect on the image quality.

Q: 4. What is the Stop value of the 4 different filters ? Please help. Thanks

A: The ND filters are ND 0.9, 1.2, 1.8, and 3.0, which amount to 3, 4, 6, and 10-stops respectively. For a beginner's guide to ND filters and the different nomenclatures brands might use, see this B&H Explora guide: https://bhpho.to/3jKaap2

Q: 5. Is there a version of this for AF 14 F2.8 on the FE (Sony)?

A: Unfortunately, Haida does not produce a filter set for the Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 for the Sony E mount. What you can use is the NiSi 150mm Q Filter Holder for Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 FE Lens for Canon and Nikon, BH # NIF150SF14CN along with 150mm filters that are 2mm thick. https://bhpho.to/2XnTeuA

Q: 6. Hi, I have never used a rear filter before, if I am adapting the Tamron 15-30 G2 to the Nikon Z-Mount via FTZ adapter, will this rear filter affect my ability to adapt the lens? Thank you

A: No, the use of the Haida Rear Lens ND Filter Kit for Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens would not affect the use of the lens on the Nikon FTZ lens mount adapter.

Q: 7. Are these IRND filters? That is, do they block infrared pollution?

A: Unfortunately, based on Haida's specifications on their website, they make no claims of IR cut coatings.

Q: 8. Would these work on Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN Art Lens for Sony E? The lens looks like having a rear slot.

A: This lens does not have the ability for rear filters.

Q: 9. Do these filters workj on FE mount version on this lens?

A: No, they do not.

Q: 10. At 15mm, is there a risk of the ND filter touching/scraping the rear lens elements of the actual lens itself? The lens sticks out at the end.

A: The filters in the Haida Rear Lens ND Filter Kit for Tamron SP 15-30mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens (Canon EF) do not touch the rear element of the lens.

[Solid ND] I have tested this filter three times now in daylight and artificial light and am very satisfied; it's earned a place in my kit. Density was perhaps a quarter stop less than 10 stops. The color is extremely accurate, varying from my no filter control shot by about 50 degrees K cooler and (in Capture One) 2.5 greener. These are extremely small adjustments. My 10 stop B+W gives a very strong red-warm cast that is hard to eliminate completely with a grey balance, a color cross-over likely due to infrared leaking through the filter. Sharpness: using a Nikon D850, 20mm f/1.8 lens, tripod, mirror up, electronic front curtain shutter, f/8, default settings in C1, at 100% view onscreen the Haida is indistinguishable in the center from No Filter, and at the edges shows only a tiny resolution loss (typical of any filter). You have to go to 200% and compare side by side to see the subtle differences. With a longer focal length lens, I expect any differences to be even smaller. My verdict: excellent filter at a good price. I plan to buy a second in a different size and see no reason to search other brands.

[Solid ND] I have had the Lee Filters NDs for several years, and after trying Haida's 6 and 10 stop filters I will not go back. The Haida ND filters have a more natural color balance then the Lee. I had purchased their filter holder system as well but I didn't like it and kept my Lee holder system. This filter does work in the Lee holder though it does fits very tightly, not necessarily a bad thing as it is light tight. I am very pleased with these filters!

[Solid ND] Excellent materials of construction, a high quality glass, compared to other higher cost filters, has a very exact control of color casts. For the price and quality it has, I recommend it is worth it.

[Solid ND] I own the Lee Filters 'Big Stopper 3.0 ND filter (10 stop) and have used it quite often. After seeing the reviews on this filter, I thought I would try it against the Lee system. This filter produces more natural and warmer colors than the Lee, the contrast seems to look a little better. Haida's M10 filter system doesn't leave a lot to be desired though but their ND filters are definitely worth the investment!!! This filter will work in the Lee holder,as it comes with a layer of foam that can be applied to keep light from bleeding past. I am very pleased with the results and would highly recommend this filter for anyone who wants to do long exposure photography.

[Glass] Inexpensive. Dead-on 10 stops (based on some fairly limited testing). Throws a little yellow-orange-brown ish color cast, but it is fairly uniform making it manageable and correctable.

[Glass] Purchased the 6 and 10 stop versions to pair with the Kase K9 holder. Both of these filters create superb results with no loss in sharpness and no color cast whatsoever. Made the switch from a screw-on variable density that always caused problems under bright and side lighting conditions. These allow very accurate control of exposure to create blurred water / clouds. Easy to clean and sheds water well. Great value.

[Glass] I've been using my new Hasselblad X1D II for about six months, and needed to improve the prospects of sky effects, as Scott Kelby discusses in his classes. This filter provides that capability for the XCD lenses
