Serving as a stand and docking station, your Mac Mini or Mac Studio slots onto this hub seamlessly and maintains a consistent aesthetic, connecting in the back with the integrated USB-C cable. The dual USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports offer speeds up to 5 Gb/s for peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and flash drives. The USB-A and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports offer up to 10 Gb/s transfer speeds each for more demanding peripherals. Take information from your camera, tablet, or other device that uses SD or microSD cards using the included card reader slots on this dock. For meetings and entertainment, plug a headset into the 3.5mm audio combo jack.

[Aluminum] This device is a great thing to have when trying to connect several External Hard Drives to the miniMac! I have all of my devices connected to either this Dock or the back of the miniMac. Plus, having the SD card reader in this device makes for uploading my captured images from my cameras a breeze! LOVE IT!!! 5

[1x M.2 Slot] This stand fills a need for additional ports. I also like how it gets the cooling intake off the surface/desk. Not much, but in my install high enough to get some airflow around the computer. Having all the added ports is also necessary. The only down side for me would be the lack of, or option to have powered ports. 5

[1.2 lb] In my opinion, this is a 'must' accessory for the Mini, not only adding badly needed ports (wish for more USB-c) but bringing them to the front. However, be aware that upgrading the Operating System with this accessory attached will create some glitches, so it is best to disconnect it before installing an upgrade. 5
