A: The Elgato Stream Deck XL BH #ELSTRMDKXL only supports Windows and macOS officially.

A: The Elgato Stream Deck + has an extensive Macro system, that would allow you to assign functions to any of the buttons and control PTZ camera functions. A: This controller requires a Windows or Mac platform.

A: The Elgato Stream Deck + has no way of integration with an ATEM except through a computer in the streaming software.

Q: 6. Does the stand disconnect so the unit can lay flat on a desk?

A: While the stand comes installed/connected, it can be removed so you can use the Stream Deck XL "flat" - it still has a slight angle like a keyboard..

Q: 7. Can I use an Elgato Stream Deck with a Rodecaster Pro 2?

A: The Elgato Stream Deck XL (B&H# ELSTRMDKXL) can be used to activate features of the RODECaster Pro II Integrated Audio Production Studio (B&H# RORCSTRPRO2) specifically and only through the (free) RODE Central App. We would recommend making sure that you are satisfied with using that app for control of your RODECaster Pro II as direct control between the Stream Deck XL and the RODECaster Pro II is not possible. As is the case with most computer applications, the buttons of the Stream Deck XL can be programmed to activate macros that you would prerecord to perform actions in RODE Central.

Q: 8. Can I use this to remote control devices elsewhere over IP? Envisioning having it locally running remote broadcasts

A: The Elgato Stream Deck XL can be programmed to work with most software, so as long as you have software that would allow you to remotely access and control the broadcasts, you should be able to program command inputs for that software into the Elgato Stream Deck XL.

Q: 9. Will this control a PTZ camera?

A: No it cannot function as a PTZ controller.

A: The Codecs used with the Magewell Ultra Stream HDMI are - H.264 or HEVC (video) and AAC High Quality (audio) encoding; Video bitrates up to 8Mbps.

I’ve been looking at this cable since it was announced, very curious on how the mdrx and cinetape integration works. It’s also very unclear to which version or models of cinetape it has to be, is it Cinematography Electronics, cinebug or Arri so to answer some questions. This works with the C. E. Cinetape original and cinetape 2 although still unclear about the other models it works with the original cinetape makers. This is a direct connection from the mdrx aux 1 port into the cinetape’s remote port. It’s very easy to set up and depending on the condition of your cinetape works extremely well and awesome paired with the ctrl 1 or 3 hand units and small hd monitors. 5

No more cue tab and power adapter. Get this or get the 2 pin lemo - 2 pin lemo if your monitor have the output. 5

I had my cable go bad a week ago and I ordered a new one and it worked perfectly. Always double check that it works as sometimes the different Teradek cables I've bought didn't work right out of the box. Anytime I've had that issue B&H replaced the damaged item quickly. 5

I have two systems of these Spark transmiter /reciever set, they work great, the only thing that I would like to change is the battery life...it is to short, to go through a complete streaming event. To fix this I purchased a power bank and I connect it to the usb port in the transmiter...it works very well. 5
