Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this come in sockets to fit Australian plugs?

A: No, it does not.

Q: 2. Can I plug this into a ups which has surge protection or will it diminish the performance of this unit?

A: It is not recommended to connect a surge protector to a UPS. What you would want is a power distribution system without surge protection.

Q: 3. Whats the difference between this and the PST-2+6, which has 2 more outlets yet is $10 cheaper??

A: The B&H # FUPST6 MFR # PST-6 offers a more robust build and a predominately metal cabinet.

Q: 4. can i use this Furman PST-8 in korea ( 220V / 60hz ) ac power input condition?

A: The Furman PST-8 Power Station cannot operate above 135V of power.

Q: 5. what king of warranty/guarantee does this product have?

A: This product comes with a 3 year manufacturer warranty

Q: 6. can I use a short extension cord between my computer and the input socket of this unit to get around the limited spacing of the outlets? Or will the extra cord limit the protection?

A: Additional cords may prevent protection. It is one extra item that can fail and hurt your equipment.

Q: 7. The photo doesn't match it's description. Is it a pair of coaxial connectors or two pairs?

A: This would be a single input, and a single output.

Q: 8. What is the difference between the Furman pst-6 and the Furman pst-8D in power conditioning properties.Am I not getting as good conditioning from the pst-6??

A: According to the Furman site, the PST-6 has EMI/RFI filtration, under- and over-voltage shutoff. But the The PST-8 series has LiFT where AC noise is suppressed evenly so it does not add noise, and the SMP technology which is extreme voltage-shutdown which is the most common damaging event. I have the PST-8D and it improves the tv picture and somewhat computer visual both plugged into the digital part, isolating digital and analog inputs. I don't know if PST-6 would do those as much. But you can call Furman and ask them yourself. Hope that helps.

Q: 9. Can I use it with a voltage of 220 volts?

A: No, the Furman PST-6 B&H # FUPST6 only supports 120V.

Q: 10. How much protection will the PST-8 give against nearby lightning strikes? I know everybody says that nothing can protect against a direct strike, but I'm just wondering how much protection I can expect if there was a strike, say, on the transformer across the street.

A: Unfortunately lighting is not a fixed set amount. It is impossible to say how strong a particular strike will be and how far away will be affected.

[2990 W] Our timing was not great, 4 days after placing the order for a power station a wind storm caused a multi day power outage. After many days of frustration we found that we also need a second power station and solar panel. Can’t wait to feel prepared for the next storm

[3840 Wh] This is my second EcoFlow purchase and I continue to be impressed with the quality and performance of the product. We lose power semi-frequently and this Delta 2 + extra battery is perfect to keep our refrigerator running during outages.

[3840 Wh] I live in New England and it is possible that we will have rolling black outs this winter which is why we purchased the Delta 2. A wind storm this week knocked over a tree and we were without power for several hours. I was able to hook up lights, my computer, and monitor, my warming throw blanket over my lap and use my phones personal hotspot. This enabled me to continue working. My husband also hooked up our Kerug so we could enjoy some coffee.

[3000 Cycles] Excellent product, but still room for improvement. It should have more watt-hours, at least somewhere between 1500-2000wh. Also,
it should have more solar input capacity, about 800-1000W with 80-100V input.

[2990 W] I bought this to replace a smaller unit that could not backup my fridges or freezers. It is much lighter and more functional than the Delta 1300 I purchased a few years ago. I prefer the LiFePO battery and it's associated longer life. It does not have as much battery capacity as the Delta 1300, but the inverter appears to be the same. I like the ability to set the charge limit to 70% while using it as a UPS. The UPS functions very quickly and has been running a freezer and some other appliances without problem. It was a little slow to update the firmware when I got it, but it seems to be doing fine now. I don't like that one must connect the device via WiFi to get updates. It wants access to my home network and that is forbidden to the Chinese (and other) companies.

Overall, I like it and it works so far as a UPS for my freezers and fridges.

[3840 Wh] The January 2023 rains here in California were brutal. I tried to expedite a battery from EcoFlow…and they came through! When the power outage hit..this battery kept a few lights on and powered all our devices. It even powered our Dyson heater. The ExoFlow Delta 2 was amazing.

[2990 W] I bought the Delta 2 as an extra power source for my camping experience and it is a welcoming addition. Being only 30 lbs, I can carry it around and power up my electric water kettle or induction cooktop with ease. Plus I can recharge it rapidly on my EcoFlow Delta Pro power house that I have connected to a powerful solar array.
