I bought another adapter from another company that wouldn't lock with the lens and was a total waste. This one is secure and solid. Thanks!

This adapter solves a BIG issue I was having. I use a GH5 with some old Olympus lenses, mostly for interviews and headshots, etc.

Because of the 2x crop factor of the sensor, my beautiful 50mm lens ends up being great for Extreme Close Ups or Macro shots.

However, I noticed that it wouldn't let me focus on anything when I got less than a few feet from my subject.

This adapter easily solves that problem. Once you get used to the mechanism it really helps get some beautiful macro shots. And like I said, this also solves a large non-macro issue for those who use cropped sensors.

The only downside is that the adapter fits quite loosely onto my GH5 mount, but not too loose that it falls off. Just wiggles a little.

Overall, the price for this is easily worth it and I highly recommend this to anyone using lenses 50mm and up on a cropped sensor.

Although I though that the adapter was a rated bit tight going on, I found that it snaps into place just right. It is just what I needed as my om lenses which are older than I am allow me some character with my bmpcc.

Simple adapter that does the job. I mounted my old 75-205mm OM zoom lens on my new OM-D and it just works.

As expected, Micro Four Thirds to SLR adapters act as telephotos due to the extra focal distance the introduce. I'd guess this adapter is roughly equivalent to 1.5x, but it's hard to measure without my old OM-4.

You have to keep in mind that (a) no autofocus and (b) twice the effective focal length for 35mm FF lenses (your OM 50/1.4 becomes a 100/1.4). If that conversion and limitation works for you this is what you want. You still get auto-exposure using A (aperture preferred) mode, you just have to set the aperture manually on the lens and you may need to open up to focus, then close down to shoot. Fit and finish are fine, I see no reason to spend more. Works with both my Zuiko and 3rd party lenses

Its a good price for an adapter that I was not intending to use very often. BUT, it turned out that the use of my old OM lenses with a m4/3 body is very exciting and I am using it more then anticipated.
