[8.26 lb] I wanted recommend this company and their products, to anyone in the market for a reliable prompting system. My company owns three Prompter People systems, a Q-Pro, a Flex Plus, and a set of presidential paddles. Our Q-Pro has been in service since 2007 and we are still using the original monitor. We have never unboxed the backup. The 17 Q-Pro has been all over the world. It is super simple to setup, and can be run in the field from a portable battery pack, all day. Our clients are very demanding and we don't have time to deal with temperamental equipment or software, which is why I recommend this company and their products so highly.
The reason I am leaving this review, is that I recently ordered a Flip-Q software dongle to replace one that came apart after 15 years of use. (Ironically, the software still worked, the USB drive just plugged in without its external case.) They immediately sent me a downloadable software license to use while the dongle was in transit and we never had an issue.
Everything is well made. We have NEVER had an issue or failure with electronics, or component parts. I rarely leave reviews, but when a company goes above and beyond from a service standpoint, and has a great product (multiple great products), I want to make sure other know about it.

[8.26 lb] The flex plus high bright model we got has side inputs in the monitor so attaching the HDMI and SDI cables was easy, not sure how anyone would have issues with this.
Love the folding hood and removable back sled. We can swap it from a regular teleprompter to a freestanding teleprompter.
For the price it's well worth it, the only complaint I have is the software is a bit dated, but at least the software as included for free.

[8.26 lb] I used many different teleprompters before so I new what configuration I have to look at. But at the same time I wasn't sure that this one is comlpetely what I need. So when it came and I did firs shoot with it I realised how good it is. It made with a wery high quality matrials, good glass and this plastic hood with lens hood. The only thing I'd like to be more is monitor connections. There is only dvi-connector so you have to get adaptor for your mac. One more very important thing is software wich goes with teleprompter. I'm in love with ZApromp software. It is very convenient and have pretty all settings you usually need working with prompter.

[8.26 lb] The unit arrived and we had it ready for the first shoot 30 minutes out of the box. The overall construction is better than i had expected and we're pleased. It is a substantial unit and mounts our Sony HVR-V1U pefectly, but requires a heavier Sachtler Video 14 or similar tripod - don't try on light Bogen with a 501 head.

[8.26 lb] This is a great product that worked extremely well, once I figured it all out! lol It comes disassembled and takes a little bit of thinking and studying the parts to put it together, but nothing bad. Downloading and using the software was a little confusing so I called the tech support number that comes with the instructions and the people helping me were awesome. They took whatever time it took to get me up and running to my satisfaction. I immediately used the teleprompter with ease to do an job. I can't say enough good things about the manufacturing company and of course B&H is my favorite audio/video supplier.

[8.26 lb] Does what it supposed to do that's why I gave it 5 stars. no issues. It's big and not very portable, but not impossible to move on location. In fact if you could use it on location the size of the screen is easier for the talent to read from.One tip I would give is to squeeze your text into a tighter column so the talent's eyes don't have to travel across the screen that way it looks more like speaking and less like reading. It's a good tip for any prompter.

[8.26 lb] I use it with the Canon Xa10 and GH2 Panasonic. Good glass quality, and very sturdy The 17 Screen size is excellent for tapings when the prompter if a bit far from Host, easy to set-up and prompting software is getting the job done. Wished for an external usb or bluetooth controller to control speed scroll direction size and edit. Great product.
