Featuring two 3.5" SATA drive bays, the Drivestor 2 Lite provides read and write speeds up to 113 MB/s. A 1.7 GHz Realtek RTD1619B 4-Core CPU and 1GB of DDR4 RAM ensure smooth performance and multitasking, while a Gigabit Ethernet port enables snappy networking. A USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port and USB-A 2.0 port are also present for connecting external peripherals. [11.7 W] Great NAS with lots of options and tons of support for backups, storage, and serving video and audio. It has dual 2.5Gb Ethernet ports and supports up to 4 NVMe SSD's as well as 4 disk drives so performance is excellent. I use it as a Channels DVR for my SiliconDust 4-channel tuners so I can watch recorded shows anywhere on any device. I also use it to backup Mac laptops, Windows PC's, and store large files remotely to save disk space. Faster than my older Synology NAS. Very pleased with it so far. 5

[1 GB DDR4] Software is intuitive, drive trays feel a little brittle. Performance is good, 2 2.5Gbps is excellent. Would recommend a foam pad to sit on if noise is an issue. Also enterprise drives are noisey. 5

[1 GB DDR4] I recently purchased two of these for use as backup devices (one in my basement, one in an outbuilding) to hold copies of my photos and other data in case of earthquake, fire, or other disaster (including human error). Since the backup software runs on my desktop computer, the main feature of this NAS I use is the SMB server. The browser-based configuration interface is clean and easy to use, and provides fine-grained control over the filesystem, SMB, user accounts, and security controls. An optional SSH connection will allow Linux experts even more choices. I also appreciated the basic-but-useful file manager app. The CPU and memory were sufficient to keep my 1Gb network and 5400rpm WD Red+ drives saturated on large file transfers such as RAW files, but bogged down by about 40% on directory trees full of smaller files, presumably due to the overhead of directory transactions on the HDDs. That's good enough for me---a 1-terabyte update took about 3 hours, and the average non-shooting-day backup is closer to 5 minutes--both of which take place comfortably during my sleep. Your mileage my vary, especially if you use fancier NAS services that require more CPU cycles. But for my purpose, these little boxes are handy and cost-effective. 5

[4.5 lb] I am running this NAS with two 6tb iron wolf drives in a Raid 1 config. So far so got. It was easy to set up. The things I had to learn were the different ways of creating backup schedules, mapping network drives, using some of the apps and how to use the Cloud access via the internet, but that would be similar with any other NAS. The NAS looks good, performs well, currently only serving the role of remote storage but I do have it connected to a keyboard and monitor so that I can play around with its HDMi capabilities. I have tied a few of the Asustor mobile apps to access the Nas remotely. So far so good. I like it but I don't have any previous NAS experience with other products. I pick this device to have future proof hardware (i.e. 4 bays for expansion, Celeron quad core and ram upgradeability as well as 2x 2.5gbe ethernet ports 5

[11.7 W] Love my new Asustor AS5304T 4-Bay NAS! Also bought 4 Seagate 4TB IronWolf drives for ~10TB in RAID-5. Upgraded from an older 4TB NAS for my home network. Easy to configure, and lots of apps to use -- Set up Plex to stream photos and videos to a smart TV on the home network. So cool :) 5
