Q: 1. when using this with a sony AX100 are you able to use the viewfinder?

A: Probably not a good idea. Use the LCD viewfinder screen. it would a much more practical solution when shooting with his type of rig.

Q: 2. I just wondered about using it with DSLR's, if it is compatible w/ a Canon7D or if this particular one may be better suited for camcorders?

A: I used it with my Canon 50D. It's a good fit just don't forget to factor in the weight of your DSLR lens or/and a mic. It can get heavy.

Q: 3. Is this big enough to put a Nikon D7100 in it?

A: Yes, it will because my Canon 70D fit perfectly in it. The Nikon D7100 and the Canon 70D have very similar dimensions. Now, once it is trapped in, that is pretty much all that you can have in it, hence, why there is another connector on top for lighting or a mic. It was a great buy for me and enabled me some good stabilization then I took my footage into After Effects for more stabilization and the result was great. Stabilization software work great if the camera was already strapped into a stabilizer and the camera holder knows how to properly move with the stabilizer. It was a great buy and definitely recommend it for anyone.

Q: 4. Is this product OEM or aftermarket?

A: Leica Lens Hood for Leica Q Series is made by Leica in Germany. Is not an aftermarket product.

Q: 5. Will these fit in a Dracast LED 1000 Pro Daylight litepanel?

A: It will depend on the type of grip the Dracast uses. Verify that the gel is rigid and it has the right dimensions.

Q: 6. there is no photo of the tripod mount?????

A: The tripod mount on the Ewa-Marine U-B 100TR UW Housing for SLRs w/ 82mm Filter Thread lenses w/ Tripod Mount is located on the bottom of the housing. We do not have an image of this currently.

Q: 7. The Wescott site says this is only for the deep umbrellas, not standard umbrellas. Wondering if this would fit on their 43" compact umbrella (that stores very small)? Can't see why it wouldn't, looking for super compact umbrella size for travel assignment. Thanks!

A: Yes, as long as end-user is using a deep 43 or 53 umbrellas it will work.

Q: 8. Would this work for a Panasonic gx7?

A: Yes it should if the camera has a normal tripod mount on the bottom.

A: This device would work out just fine with your camera and microphone choices.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with a t5i?

A: The Vello ActionPan Professional Grade Stabilizing Action Grip/Handle can handle a camera up to a max height of 4.5 . The T5i is 3.9 high so you are good to go.

[82 mm] I was very surprised at the results of this filter. I wasn't expecting much based on it's price (sale price especially), but when I tested it, I noticed virtually zero difference in sharpness. I also didn't notice much of a color shift either when using it. Definitely worth the money! 5

[0.185 lb] I purchased a Nikon 500mm f5.6 and this filter to protect it. This filter does not interfere with the lens hood and the lens cap snaps into it fine. I liked the high light transmissiveness for the price. 5

[0.185 lb] I bought this for my Sony 20mm 1.8 which has a 67mm filter thread. The lens is so wide I would get a lot of vignetting in the corners. This completely solved it, the magnetic hold is strong, the filter quality is great and all of my issues are solved! 5
