The Miller CXV 14 Combo Live 30 Pedestal System Versa Platefrom Miller CXV 14 Combo Live 30 Pedestal System Versa Plateis designed to accommodate a wide payload range, 16 steps of counterbalance with CB Plus for fine adjustments, as well as five selectable pan/drag settings. Pan, tilt, and counterbalance can all be set to zero, enabling even the lightest of cameras to be supported. Maxed out, this head is rated to support camera setups up to 30.9 lb, adequate for a DSLR or mirrorless camera, a cinema camera, or a ENG camcorder. Securing your camera or rig is easy. The sideload quick release plate design enables you to simply drop in your camera without the alignment issues posed by rear-loading variations. The plate offers 3.9" of sliding range to balance your rig.

To survive fast-paced shooting environments, the CXV14 is die-cast from a lightweight, yet durable metal alloy with composite polymers and precision ball bearings for smooth mechanical operation. Even in harsh conditions, the CXV14 will perform reliably. The base of the CXV14 is a 100mm ball for mounting to compatible tripods and grip equipment. An illuminated bubble level makes it easy to level the CXV14 in dark environments. A fixed-length pan handle is included, and a second rosette is available for attaching an optional second pan handle.

A: Yes, it's definitely compatible with the BeFree (MAMKBFRC4BH) tripod. However, I cannot imagine why you would want to use the 323 adapter with this particular tripod, as it comes with a quick-release ball head and includes a 200LT-PL QR plate for your camera.The Manfrotto 323 RC2 adapter is intended to be used with tripod/head combinations (typically non-Manfrotto tripods) that do not have a quick-release system as part of their design.Instead of purchasing the complete 323 adapter, I would recommend replacing the 200LT-PL quick-release plate that came with your BeFree tripod with a 200PL QR plate (B&H # MA200PL). This plate is of heavy-duty construction compared to the lighter plate that you already have, and its much stronger D-ring will last a very long time.

A: Unfortunately, it does not. Manfrotto however does include them with the individually sold 200PL plates.

[Fluid Head] This product is high up there on my list of must haves for quality production. Affordably priced, smooth wheels, and all around great pedestal. Funny sidenote, make sure you read the instructions, as two of our awesome employees took the entire head attachment apart before realizing where the screw holes were... They did however expertly put it back to gether....with the help of a third employee...me. 5

[Fluid Head] There is no better investment than a great set of sticks. After a couple of years going for cheaper alternatives and jealously watching my work mates on their Miller tripods I bit the bullet. What great value for the sticks alone the head was surprisingly smooth for such a small unit will definitelybuy a compas head in future but for now the AIR fluid head is a nice bonus to a graet set of sticks. 5

[+90° to -75°] We have the Compass 20 but needed something smaller to travel with. This is lighter and shorter, but there doesn't seen to be much if any compromise on quality, strength, and stability. The max payload is a little lighter and there are a few less settings on the head. The legs are very strong. 5

[+90° to -75°] I bought this as a travel tripod for a documentary shoot in Europe last spring. The legs collapse down small enough to fit into my checked luggage and I am able to easily fit the Air head in my carry on camera case. All-in-all, it is a fairly lightweight, efficient and sturdy solution for creating buttery smooth pans and tilts, adjustable to a broad range of different heights to cover nearly any situation.Simply stated, the Miller Air makes shooting fun again and has easily become the preferred tripod in my collection. The quick setup time, its rock solid build quality, and the agility it provides to move around and grab a variety of shots in a timely manner makes this my go-to tripod for nearly every assignment.If you've ever used a Miller head, you'll feel right at home with the Air and the professional quality and precision it delivers.
