A: Works great on my Nikon D3300, however my Nikom D5600 will not recognize it.

A: I used it on a wedding and got only 30-45 minutes or less of shooting time. It also died well before the camera said it would - the screen still showed half battery life when it shut off. The $10 you save is not worth it - I'm only shooting with Nikon batteries now, never have any issues.

A: I have the B-3418 version of this battery (not the later B-3418-2 as shown here). That earlier version of the battery used to work in my D5600, but after a firmware upgrade in the camera, the B-3418 version stopped working. A "incompatible" message appears on the Nikon D5600 LCD screen. Perhaps this B-3418-2 version will work. But Nikon seems to be on a mission to "break" compatibility for non-Nikon parts. If you apply firmware upgrades (which you should for lots of other good reasons), don't be surprised if non-Nikon parts start not working.

[0.16 lb] Watson makes great replacement batteries and stands behind them with an actual warranty. They may not last as quite long as manufacturer batteries, but the savings are difficult to ignore! 5

[0.16 lb] I was delighted to receive the Watson (not NIKON) battery for my camera (Nikon 5300) from B & H. The Nikon battery was costing approximately $53. The Watson battery was about one half that price. Time will tell if the quality is acceptable but for now THANK YOU B & H! I have been shopping at B & H for many years like so many other people and they always put their customers first! This is just another example. I also have purchased some IMPACT lighting equipment for a great price from B & H. Thank you B & H - these are just two examples of why you are number one in the photographic market place when it comes to customer care and outstanding customer service. 5
