A: This lens is compatible, but in some situations, it may vignette. It would depend on the camera system you are using the lens on. Sigma makes a 16mm for Sony E mount / Canon EF-M Mount (APS-C crop sensor) and a Micro Four Thirds Mount (4/3's crop sensor). On Micro Four Thirds, with the lens being about 1 inch or less from the glass (in a 16:9 video mode), you should not see any vignetting within the frame. However on an APS-C crop sensor, there you may have some slight vignetting from the top of the frame.

A: We use the 24 version with various cameras - Panasonic full size eng cameras to 5Ds, it's all about balancing the camera with the hardware on the tripod.
