Q: 1. Will this fit the straps of the Wandrd Prvke Lite (the 11 liter)?

A: We tested the Peak Design Capture Clip 3 with the Wandrd PRVKE 11L Lite and it did fit the shoulder straps, but I had to squeeze the straps a little bit in order to use the securing screws to catch onto the threads of the clip.

Q: 2. Can we use this on Peak Design 20L everyday backpack?

A: While it isn't designed for our Everyday Backpacks, we've tested the option and it works great. Feel free to grab it for that purpose!

Q: 3. Will this PD clip mount on Lowepro Protactic BP 450 AW II backpack with shoulder strap almost 3" wide?

Q: 4. Do I need to use their supplied base plate or can I use one of my existing plates? -- Currently I use the Manfrotto 501 plate, but can switch to arca, but I would prefer a larger arca base plate for my tripod as I shoot video and use heavy lenses. So, would I be able to use any arca baseplate, or even an L-bracket with this?

A: This system is only meant to be used with the Peak Design plates. A long plate would not fit properly in this system.

Q: 5. Can you still access the battery door on a Fuji X-T1 with the plate screwed into the body?

A: Nope. I have the Fuji X-t1, sadly the plate still won't access the battery door. The slot is simply not long enough and the screw head is too big. Potentially can modify the plate... but that's at your own risk.

Q: 6. Can the capture clip hold the weight of Nikon D810 that has a 16-35 mm Nikon lens ? Also I have a Really Right stuff baseplate on the camera . Can I mount the clip on that base plate instead of Peak design plate ?

A: It will hold your camera with lens, however it may be a bit cumbersome, and sadly you do have to use Peak Designs' plate for it to actually click into the capture system properly.

Q: 7. possible to have it carry-on?

A: The long dimension is too long for carry on, 22" is max but as this is a soft sided bag, you may be able to get away with it. It really depends on the airport and airline.

Q: 8. does this clip still work as a quick release plate for a monopod? Previous versions could be screwed onto a 3/8 stud to act as a quick release.

A: On the V3, there is no longer a tripod thread hole on the backside of the backplate. Though both our Standard Plate and Dual Plate are both tripod compatible with most mounts on the market.
