A: Mix-minus on the Tascam Model 12 Integrated Production Suite Mixer/Recorder/USB Interface does work when using a cell phone connected to the mixer's 3.5mm TRRS smartphone input. You may also be able to have a second mix-minus for a SKype or Zoom call by using the sub outputs for the audio from the computer without routing them through the main outputs. We have not tested this setup but there do seem to be videos on YouTube that show this type of setup.

When you are using condenser mics and dynamic mics together, you can use balanced dynamic mics, which will not be affected by phantom power, however, unbalanced dynamic mics cannot be used when phantom power is enabled.
