Q: 1. How do you process it?

A: You may use the CineStill Film D96 B&W Film Developer (To Make 1L), B&H # CID96BWD1L, or the Kodak Professional HC-110 Film Developer (1L, 2019 Version), B&H # KOHC110DEV, to process the Film Photography Project B&W Negative X-Ray Film.

Q: 2. When is expiration date? Is that film DX coded? As far as I know, only the later version is DX coded.

A: I have a roll I bought in Nov that says 07/2020 hope that helps!

Q: 3. Is this DX coded?

A: The CineStill Film 50Daylight Xpro C-41 Color Negative Film is non-DX coded.

Q: 4. Does it really have 0 remjet? It wont destroy the machine on the local photoshop then?

A: No remjet; Its already removed. Thats the selling point. :)

Q: 5. Hi, is this trimmed for use in 4X5 film holders?

A: It is sized as standard 4x5 film for film holders.

Q: 6. hello, I have a canon rebel t2 & 7ne with a automatic film roll. has anyone tested this film with non manual camera's?

A: I am using this film in a Canon EOS Elan 7 and the camera does read the ISO from the cassette. So, you can use this film with your camera. Just remember that it's not a daylight film.

Q: 7. Do you know expiry date of this film?

A: The expiration date will vary with the batches of film.

Q: 8. Do yoh use a standard development process for this film?

A: Yes; to be exact, I use D-76.

Q: 9. What are the specific filter that one should use with this film?

A: Hello, if you want the most pronounced infrared effect with this film, I'd use the Kodak Wratten 87, however this will mean shooting a a very slow ISO speed due to the filter factor. An all around easier filter to use would be Hoya R72, which allows a bit more of the visible light spectrum reach the film.Rollei's Infrared film is sensitive up to 820nm. The Kodak-Wratten Filter would block everything below 795nm, and the Hoya R72 block all light below 720nm.Using Kodak-Wratten 87: I'd meter for ISO 16-25. Infrared light can be unpredictable, so bracketing shots would be advisable. Hoya's R72 blocks a little less light, so I'd shoot at ISO 25-50.If you meter for ISO 400, add 4-5 stops, otherwise meter at the lower ISO values. Something that helped me get more familiar with my filters was to shoot a less expensive 120 roll, and record what each shot was exposed at. That way I made almost no mistakes on the more expensive 4x5.Hope that helps, ...good luck!

Q: 10. I used this film with Nikon FM-10 and Sekonic L-308X-U on a daylight, i sat my light meter to 400 ISO, am following the light meter readings and i still getting under exposed images, what u think is my problem. btw sometimes i push my film but i still not satisfied with the results. (**note** camera is in good condition)

A: As mentioned in the 120 version: I've shot this film twice, once at 800 with no push, and second time at 1600 and pushed 2 stops. The second time around I had better results with contrast and the look I was going for. It's a bit trial and error, but I feel 400 is too low. Try shooting at 500 in daylight if you use with a 85 filter as per CineStill, but honesty I think this is better suited at 800 or 1600 ISO.

[400] This is one of the best possible films for landscape photography in 4x5. There is no other film quite as good as this if you want a slow speed, fine grain, traditional grain film for working in 4x5. I tend to overexpose by one stop and use very dilute rodinal to increase the tonal range. N 1 in rodinal 1:100 is about 15 minutes at 68c. Troop and Anchell, the noted authority on such matters, recommend this combination for APX, which was the direct predecessor of this film (it's almost exactly the same). Take my advice - Try it. You'll be glad you did.

[0.305 lb] I started using this film at the recommendation of my NYC pro lab. I couldn't be happier with it. Very accurate colors and tones. VERY sharp. Easy to scan. Easy to load. It is at the top, along with Porta.

[Color Negative] Exactly what I look for in film. Beautiful colors and I love the way it captures soft light. I had a bit of a water leak, and only the first photo in the roll had any damage, I don't know how, but I'm not going to question it. I'm just happy it developed ok! I always need to have a backup of this around.

[Color Negative] If you hate halations in your photos - you might not like this film. After using one roll I figured out how to avoid, add, maximize and minimize halations in the photos. I love it.

[C-41] It's film..!! The idea is to go beyond the surface of things.
Most imagery I see becomes gadgetry and pure irrelevance.
A good film camera and this stock will best match your artistic intention.
