[6 ft (1.8 m)] In looking for a power pack for my GoPro 3, I knew there had to be something out there? I looked around and saw the other designs were bulky and more expensive? But when I came across this little baby I was hooked. Very sleek design and it came with the longest extension of all of them,10'. Now if you put a small divot or cutaway directly in the middle on the bottom of the GoPros battery housing's outside plastic edge, on the camera body itself you can drop the power cord through the cutaway small enough to just fit the diameter of the cord, it doesn't hurt the unit at all and then you can put your view screen right back on with the cord coming straight through. The cam still attaches to all the external attachments and all mounts no problem. My little GoPro tip of the day! So now when I need to do static lock down or second cam B shots for longer that the 20 min or so norm a battery gives, I can just turn it on and let it roll, screen on constant and suck up as much juice as I need for as long as I need.. Plug the USB end into a 5v wall wort adapter or a near by computer with an extra USB in/out. It's great.. Thanks guys, the price is also very reasonable... .

[0.25 lb] I love this product! I was impressed from the first time I installed it in the GoPro. It snapped right in with a nice fit and stays installed even while moving the camera around. When you pair this up with an external battery pack, it allows me the freedom to shoot video for much longer periods of time without worrying about losing power. Especially nice when doing timed exposures.

[6 ft (1.8 m)] The first thing I did after I purchased this was run a test. I wanted to know if it would run off of a rechargeable battery without interruption. I'm going on a 9 day trek and having to constantly change batteries will be a pain. At 1080/60 I can get 5 1/2 hrs of video on a 64GB the best I've ever done with a battery is 1 1/2 hrs. With the Battery Eliminator I was able to fill the card. All the video was there. It does what it says.

I purchased this in order to video log a scenic road trip; the battery eliminator saves the hassle of having to swap out the GoPro battery every couple of hours. I would recommend this alternative to anyone having a similar purpose in mind.

[0.25 lb] Works with my old GoPro 3+ with the open-back case. The wire fits through the slots in the case back just fine. If you have a skeleton case, so much the better. It has breathed new life into my old camera.
