[Lithium-Ion] Works great with my Canon M3 camera.

[7.2 VDC] Included everything I needed to keep an OM-D EM-10 mark II powered for long sessions on a tripod. One note - the battery door will not close, as such you may need to position the camera carefully to fit a tripod mount, but the battery clip holds the dummy battery fine while the door is open.

[Lithium-Ion] I bought this for my Panasonic HC-X2 so I wouldn't have to rely on the battery for some indoor stationary shoots. Absolutely no problems using the unit. The plastic casing seems somewhat flimsy compared to the quality of the materials of the camera, but it looks like it can stand up to normal wear and tear.

[7.2 VDC] Nice to have this for document and slide scanning projects. Swapping batteries was tedious and problematic if not charged. B&H delivered a few days sooner than promised as well.

[7.2 VDC] One of the Q&A’s says the Bescor BLS50AC dummy battery adapter kit is not compatible with the Olympus E-PL9.  I asked Bescor ( answers@bescor.com ) why the kit is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M5/M10, but not the Olympus Pen E PL9, since all three use the same Olympus BLS-50 battery.   The response was: “It will work. Your camera just needs to be added to our list.”

The Bescor is 8V 3A. The Olympus battery is 7.2V 1175 mAh (1.175A).  I did some online research to see if a device built for 7.2V could operate at 8V.  One person describing himself as an engineer posted that 7.4V
Lithium batteries actually span a 6V to 8.4v voltage range depending on state of charge of the battery.  Another “senior electrical engineer” said that because all devices are designed with some voltage tolerance value, a 7.4 volt device means 7.4 volt +/- 1 to 1.5 volts.  Still other posts indicated that you can use a
3A power adapter on a 1.5A device.  By logical extension, I figured (I don’t actually know) that since the PL9 uses a 7.2 volt battery, it is probably designed to also work at 8 volts, and is also okay running at 3A.

Based on the response from Bescor and the Internet voltage and amperage responses, I decided to purchase
the Bescor and use it with my PL9.  I haven’t seen any sign of overheating or other problems with this setup so far, but will update this review if that changes.

I did not deduct points for the need to leave the battery compartment open because I knew that would be the case when I bought it.

[7.2 VDC] Works as I hoped--no longer need a battery to keep DSLR running while using it as a webcam. Wire is out of the way of tripod mount, too. Loving it.

[Lithium-Ion] I use this in my PANASONIC FZ-2500 for videography and it keeps me powered up with no battery changes.

If you have a G85 like i do it won't work because you cant close the battery door.
