Q: 3. What is the range on the wireless? Line of sight only?

A: According to Cerevo the wireless connection uses the 433MHz band, which is resistant to obstacles and interference from other wireless signals. It is not just a direct line of sight and it has a range up to 100m or 328 feet.

Q: 4. Will this work on a Roland V1-HD/V-8HD using the X-Keys USB-GPIO converter (since B&H carries that one as a special order but not the Cerevo one)?

A: We can only recommend working with the Cerevo USB-GPIO for total compatibility. At this moment it can only be purchased from Cerevo. http://gstore.cerevo.com/usb-gpio-converter-for-flextally/

Q: 5. I see it works with ATEM mini pro. Is it safe to assume it works with Mini Extreme?

A: Yes, Both the Atem Mini and the Extreme switcher models from Black Magic would support the Cerevo FlexTally Wireless Tally Lamp System.

Q: 6. Can you turn the green tally (preview) function off? I just want a on air red tally.

A: Unfortunately that is not an option, but I found this from the FlexTally "Some switchers do not have a preview (stand-by) output. For example, LiveWedge does not illuminate green because there is no preview output. Also some switchers have a preview output but don’t have a GPIO preview output. Please check the switcher’s manual accordingly.", if your switcher applies, read user manual.

Q: 7. Does this device work with roland v1_hd +? How are they connected?

A: The Roland V-1HD+ is not in the compatibility list yet but based on their information for the V-1HD, you will need to use the USB out into a conveter called USB-GPIO Converter for FlexTally. You can find this converter in their site.

Q: 8. Is there a way to get this working with OBS? Also since the Marshall VMV 402 has a serial tally interface, would that work with this system as well?

A: At this time it does not support OBS. Since OBS is an open source platform it is possible for someone with coding experience to develop something to make it work but at this time there is no turn key or easy solution to get this product to work with OBS. In regards to the Marshall Camera this bypasses the need to use Marshall's interface. The Cerevo replaces Marshall's Tally system instead of working with it. It is worth noting that the Flextally is compatible with VMix. Vmix is a software switcher that is extremely similar to OBS. They have a free trail available on their website if you want to test it out. [6.095 lb] No complains so far. Its been a week with my new case and i absolutely love it. As it says, it comes with custom fit foam, so you can adapt it for any monitor. The build quality is good and solid. 100% recommended to protect your monitors. 5

[6.095 lb] Plugged it in, set the switcher IP and everything worked straight away. Should work with any modern ATEM switcher. Outdated and discontinued models will obviously not work since the API has changed over the years. For ATEMs over Ethernet, you don't need to do the Learning part of the setup, so just skip that. Set the switcher IP in settings and it should begin working immediately. 5

[6.095 lb] This is the second of this set of wireless tallies we purchased. We have been very happy with the first set and the ease of which to integrate a second set was amazing. It did help to have the first with switcher to mimic the GPIO crossover, but worth the investment. 5
