[Focus: 270°] This is a great, well built adapter for anyone wanting to experiment with anamorphic filmmaking and not spend a ton of money on multiple lenses.

[Black] I own all the Sirui 1.33 series anamorphic’s in Sony E mount (24,35,50,75mm APSC) and was looking for a commensurate solution for my Blackmagic pocket 6K Pro. Not only does the adapter work perfectly with my adapted vintage Nikon glass (28, 35, 50, 85mm AI-S series) but also works perfectly from 24-35mm on the amazing Sigma 18-35, and from 70-135 on the super sharp Canon 70-200. A very cost effective solution with impressive results.

[Black] This lens is honestly amazing! I've got this as well as the 35mm and the pro controller.
It's a little soft wide open at 1.9, but still very usable. Stop down to 2.5 or so and you're really sharp. While it doesn't have hard stops, the focus pulls are smooth and fluid just like a manual lens. No aggressive jumps. The autofocus focus pulls are also great because of how natural the pull is. Genuinely looks like someone is pulling focus.
I'm not sure if this would be a great lens for anything high speed like sports. The autofocus could struggle to keep up, but it works fantastically for doc work and interviews with eye tracking. No hunting at all.
Do yourself a favor and get the lens station as well as the pro controller. You really only need one pro controller, but I have two because I use two cameras. It gives you a 300 degree focus throw and hard stops, as well as quick easy transitioning from af to mf.
Overall, can't recommend this lens enough!

[2.3' / 70 cm] Works great, can go well with Cine glass of most sizes with with little vingeteeing and is close enough to 1.33 to give the desired effect.

[Focus: 270°] I love this case as it allows me to always have my lenses right next to me on set while keeping them safe and clean. I was also able to fit my Cannon 70 to 200 F2.8 lens in the case.

[2.3' / 70 cm] This thing is awesome!
Gives the lens a 95mm outer diameter, which allows easy clamping for the clamp on matte boxes. Has a smooth 300 degree focus throw. It automatically turns the gear on the lens into an aperture ring, and the m1 and m2 setting automatically turns into an AF and MF setting.
Some could say that the lens should have came like this, however I like what they did here. By offering this seperately, it gave a cheaper entry point into the lens considering you don't have to get this. You also don't need one for every lens. You just need as many as you would have cameras. So I use 2 cameras at a time, so I have 2 of these.
Overall, great piece of kit and really adds a lot of value to the cine af line!

[2.495 lb] My background, goes so far back that I have scavenge projector parts to make anamorphic lenses. Needless to say the retail price of some of the so-called anamorphic lenses that are available commercially lack of performance to justify the price, and the same is even more true with the budget anamorphic lenses. That being said, Iwas fully expected being burned by what looks a glorified squeeze diopter, and I am pleasantly surprised to wrong in this case. I was wrong to avoid purchasing this earlier.

I’m just like everybody els, I get bored and I try to curb my gear acquisition syndrome by reading, watching, and generally consuming reviews. Well, the reviews on this are mixed I don’t think they’re justified. Unfortunately, we live in a world where the people review things, aren’t professionally alined enough to do that reviews, yhey are lacking experience necessary to fully understand how to utilize the equipment that they are sometimes unjustly massacring in reputation. That being said, this lens, and that’s what it is, is only limited by its use.

I just received my copy four hours ago. And before throwing it on the camera, I light tested, color tested and prism tested it, I gave it better scrutinization that I would and irregular mole. It’s mechanically and optically sound.

Before even attaching it to a taking lens I knew this was a gem. I’m not a salesman, but I would advise people to actively avoid the reviews, there’s not a lot of experienced reviewer’s that are truly worthy of judging the performance of a piece of glass like this. I they don’t really respect the basement art of this field of vie, in the first place. This piece of kit can only be as good as its host equipment, the operator and the application. That being said, this adapter could easily, and I mean “easily” be adapted into an amazing lens of its own with very little effort.

Long-winded sleepy rant /review over, the bottom line is I have a feeling these will be sought after soon

[2.495 lb] Getting both a wide angle and anamorphic lens plus ND filters is a no brainer. Be advised you have to de-squeeze the footage recorded with the anamorphic lens. And it's a non standard squeeze factor (1.15). However you can do it with davinci resolve free. Here is a tutorial. https://youtu.be/pRe6l456rKg

[Black] Perfect case for this set of lenses with room for my focus attachment and lens cleaning material. I've used Pelican Cases for years and they have always protected my gear.
