Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this ball head take a quick release lever?

A: Yes, the Benro GX35 Two Series Arca-Type Low Profile Aluminum Ball Head does come with a Quick release. It comes with the PU56 Quick Release Plate to be exact

Q: 2. Are the GX series compatible with the MT190CXPRO4 tripods? Is there a pin to lock the ball head in place? Which GX would be best for a Nikon Z6Ii with heaviest lens of z 70-200mm?

A: Yes, the Benro GX35 is compatible with the MT190CXPRO4 (and any other 3/8"-16 mounting screw tripod). The pin for the ballhead will be on the tripod mounting platform; gentle raise the screw to increase the tension/friction between the tripod and head to secure the head into place. For a Z6ii + 70-200 f/2.8, we recommend either the GX30 or the GX35; the latter of which is better if you foresee getting larger lenses in the future.

Q: 3. Will this ball head work with the peak design tripod?

A: Benro GX30 Two Series Arca-Type Low Profile Aluminum Ball Head will work with the Peak Design tripod if you also have this adapter. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1544430-REG/peak_design_tt_ad_5_150_1_universal_head_adapter.html

Q: 4. There's no "In the Box" for this. I think the head includes an Arca camera plate. Then when I put one in the cart, they ask, "do you want a camera plate?" Just enough uncertainty to make me buy a second camera plate or not buy. Can somebody confirm that I get a ball head and a plate for my $186?

A: Leofoto LH-55 Low-Profile Ball Head with Quick Release Plate (Black) includes a quick release plate in the box.

Q: 5. Is this product still current ? I can't see it on Benro's website

A: Yes, this is a brand new head.

Q: 6. Will this work with an ifootage monopod cobra 180?

A: Yes. With no problem the following ball-head will attach.

Q: 7. Does this Ball head panning lock down separate from the ball so i can adjust and level ball head with out the base moving with it?

A: Yes it does.

Q: 8. does this have a bubble level ?

A: Yes, Benro GX30 Two Series Arca-Type Low Profile Aluminum Ball Head does have a bubble level.

Q: 9. Will the GX ball head series work on a Manfrotto 190CX tripod? Is there a pin to lock in place on a Manfrotto tripod?

A: Yes the Benro GX35 is compatible with that tripod. The set screw to keep the head from unscrewing when you are panning is dependent of the tripod though, not the head. The Manfrotto MT190CXPRO3 Carbon Fiber Tripod does have that set screw.

Q: 10. Can this be mounted to amottophoto 055cxpro4 ?

A: This can be mounted on a Manfrotto 055CXPRO4 via its 3/8"-16 Tripod Mounting Thread.

[Yes] This seems to be a very good copy of RRS small bullhead. I use it on on Gitzo 0 series tripod as well as Sunwayfoto own table tripod also a RRS clone. It is a perfect setup for some occasions.

[Yes] I was surprised to read that this little ball head can take 10 pounds of gear.  Its really strong.  Im using it with my Nikon D500 with the
200-500 lens on a Manfrotto monopod.
Yes I would buy it again.

[Ball Head] I bought this to use on my Gitzo G0012 table-top tripod, and could not be more pleased. The ballhead locks the Arca-Swiss compatible plate securely, as does the pano clamp. It has no trouble holding my Sony A7RII and fairy heavy Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 lens. Highly recommended.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] This ball head is really amazing for the price, and would be really amazing at three times the price.  Grips tightly, easy to use, quality material, versatile, and super sturdy. Im probably going to buy a few extras before Neewer figures out that they can charge more for this.

Admittedly, for a long time I didn't pay any attention to Neewer, everything they made seemed to be for consumers rather than pros.

But something is changing at Neewer... they are still among the least expensive but their hardware manufacturing and engineering choices have improved dramatically in recent years. Suddenly I own quite a bit of Neewer products. Neewer is the Smallrig of a few years ago.... great prices for really exceptionally produced products.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I got this to attach my mirrorless camera to a superclamp and then to the 1 iron pipe column of my home brew copy stand. It is ROCK SOLID and easy to align. I bought a 3/8 screw stud to hold it onto the superclamp with a little extra stability. I'm copying prints, slides, and negatives with my macro lens, instead of using a scanner. I could not be happier with the results.

[Yes] I needed a low profile ball head to handle a Sony FS7 on a Cinetics Axis Motion Control System and this one has proven very reliable.

[Ball Head] This is a great and affordable ballhead that I use primarily for overhead camera setup. I have this on a C-Stand and Arm Extension and it uses an Arca Swiss mount which I have plenty of. This really is a simple to use and simple to setup. I personally use a Impact Superclamp and Manfrotto 037 Reversible Short Stud, with 3/8 & 1/4-20 Threads, with all 3 combined it creates a sturdy setup which will hold my camera steady and safe. Highly recommended if you need a ball head for overhead camera shots.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Nice ball head, especially at the price. Can do more than the cheapest Really Right Stuff ball head for much less money. Only fault I could force is that the clamp is not removable. I would recommend it to a friend.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] Purchased this to go with a monopod and love the flexibility while using it. Everything tightens securely and I trust even my heaviest camera/lens setup on it.
