The Browning Trail Camera Tree Mount Accessoryis a useful tool for setting up a camera on a crooked tree. It features a gimbal mount with a 1/4"-20 threaded screw in order to hold your trail camera and then reposition it so that it will take useful images. This mount features a steel construction for durability outdoors and has two straps for added stability.

A: I use this device with an apple computer with no problem with still images. I have not tried using the video function. A great device. Very long battery life and pretty good image quality, including infrared night images.

A: According to Browning it cannot be used with a solar power source.

Q: 6. Is it OK to use Energizer Ulitmate Lithium AA batteries with the battery pack? Some electronics aren't designed for the slightly higher non-load voltage of Li non-rechargeable batteries. Energizer Li batteries are leakproof and work better than alkalines at low temperatures, have longer shelf life and higher capacity.

[Gimbal] All as advertised... easy to use . Mounts to variety of objects easily. Quickly adjusts so trail cam can be aimed at target area, capture images and then moved to view images while still mounted. Recommend to others for use with the Browning Trail Cam. 5

[1/4"-20] This is well-made, well-finished and substantial. It's NOT some pot metal product 'just going through the motions.' It cannot be easily bent and isn't likely to fall apart in short order. The mount can position a camera very precisely. I bolted mine to a tree instead using the straps provided. It's not inexpensive but I'll buy another one... 5

[Gimbal] I need a strong mount that I can adjust to any angle . I am using this set up for bear so being able to adjust it to any angle and a strong base is important even though I try set set the camera a minimum of 10' off the ground. ps : nothing will stop a bear if he is curious. 5
