[Fluid Head] This is an absolutely FANTASTIC tripod system! I think it's probably the best value: outstanding quality at a reasonable price. I use this with a BMPCC rig, with the weight limit of just over 13 pounds, I have no issues. I can't think of a better setup. The carbon fiber makes this really light, which is just another added benefit when shooting in the field as it's no fun carrying a lot of heavy gear.

[Yes] We use sliders and this tripod can handle the C-300 and C-100 plus the slider with no problem or slippage.

[Fluid Head] I purchased this tripod looking for a quality video tripod with a high-quality fluid head. I had the opportunity to rent various tripods before making this purchase. When compared to other tripods in the similar price range, the Sachtler Ace L takes the cake. The head is built well and lacks the plastic feel of other tripod fluid heads. It can easily carry my rig (about 10 lbs) and pan/tilt with ease. The legs are strong, easy to use and adjust and are very lightweight. I can carry these sticks with my rig on location with ease. The counter balance design is rather limited and I have trouble dialing in the perfect setting for my rig. I'm guessing that it would be easier to balance with lighter cameras/rigs.

[Yes] Compared to my other tripod (same brand, different model), this is much more comfortable to carry around being lighter in weight. We've taken it several times to event shoots and it is just as steady as my other tripod. Trekking long distances with this gear is so much easier. The fluid head is equally as smooth. I love the carbon fiber legs. I do prefer the metal components on my other fluid head, though, but that helps keep the weight of the Ace L lighter. It appears durable even if it's just glass fiber reinforced composite material, not metal.

[Yes] I use it with a Black Magic with monitor, recorder and a Zacuto rig with Redrock Micro follow focus, 12 volt pag batteries. The head is smooth and the balance can be easily performed. The gear is solid enough for what is is used for, light to carry and can be quickly installed. The bubble with inner light is a plus.

[Yes] Looked a little flimsier than I had expected but works great with my FS7 and AC7 monitor. The ground spreader version enable the tripod to go lower and higher that the mid-spreader version. Absolutely can't beat how lightweight it is for a video tripod.

[Fluid Head] I really can't say enough about this tripod. Its so lightweight, heres no problem carrying it around. And the pan and tilt are everything you would expect in a Sachtler. It makes shooting outdoors a breeze due to the spread of the legs. Plenty of extention to get those low angel/obstructed shots. You wont be dissapointed with this purchase!

[Yes] I've owned 4 of these for almost 2 years now and have put them through some pretty strenuous shoots and have had no problems. I was super skeptical when making the decision to buy and have not regretted it. These are every bit the head and sticks Sachtler systems are at half the price (no offense Sachtler, I love you too). I have put full size broadcast cameras with 40x barrel lens rigs on them with no compromise in stability, smoothness and support. Same with larger (17) prompter systems. Comfortable spring settings, pan and tilt tension...easy leveling, stable arms, smooth plate slide adjustment, extra bolt storage, solid locks on the leg stages...I'm completely satisfied with them.

[Yes] Everything we needed, except the kitchen sink.

[Yes] I'm using this with a C100 that goes from minimal build to completely decked out (Rods, external recorder, EVF, Matte Box, etc.) big weight differences. The head has functioned beautifully, showing only a bit of limitation when really weighted down. Just got back from a six country shoot, where it was set up and broken down a lot. No problems with travel at all. All in all, it's great to be able to have a Sachtler Tripod for this price. What a world.
