A: I have been using this product for about one and a half years. I use it on a painted metal surface outside for advertising. The product gets changed out every month. The ink has very little ware and the adhesion is still stuck on with no peeling. This is in direct sunlight and weather with no protection. Is your wall flat or rough? Painted wallboard or non painted? Sounds like the substrate you are applying it to is the issue.

[Cotton Rag] If you don't want reflection getting in the way and want rich shadows with great tonal range this is an excellent paper choice. My work is primarily Black and White and the images just sing on this sheet. I use the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000. Although this is a sheet only printer I cut the roll down to sheets sized to 17x25.5. The printer will print this size giving me the large size print for my 3:2 images. 5

[Cotton Rag] I love Canson Rag Photographique! It really lets an image shine, even if it is in color. The gamut isn't huge, compared to lustre, but it is fairly substantial. The weight and texture is just enough to not be overwhelming. Weirdly, the humidity at my location has been close to 100% for almost a week, and I did notice the paper felt less sturdy in the hand. To me that is a sign of very well made paper. It responds to the environment as opposed to being covered in coatings and chemicals. I only mention that because I thought it was an interesting characteristic. Overall, I wouldn't choose a different matte rag paper for inkjet printing. Beautiful clarity, contrast, blacks, color gamut, etc. 5

[Cotton Rag] I love the Canson rag paper. It's been all I use for some time. The 50' rolls run out slower than 39' rolls and save paper for that reason. Not cheap but it's serious paper for serious photographs. 5
