Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would this fit the canon 70d with 18-135 lense?

A: Yes Perfect

Q: 2. Hey guys, I have the RRS camera plate on my Sony a7R. Would that fit RRS plate fit this ballhead?

A: As the Q Series Double Action Ball Head on the MeFOTO BackPacker Travel Tripod (Titanium) is compatible with Arca-Swiss type quick release plates, yes, the Really Right Stuff quick release plate should be compatible for use with the above tripod/ball head setup.

Q: 3. How does the twist-lock mechanism hold up over time? I photograph at the beach a lot and am worried about sand.I'm not very familiar with ball-heads - will they support my Bronica SQ ok? (It's under 8 pounds).

A: For my experience, I have a Fujifilm X-E1 with a telephoto lense and flash attachment. Altogether I don't think there are more than 8 pounds of load, but I like the twist-lock mechanism and its convenience. It's been holding up quite well for my hiking and mountain bike trips. I have gotten it wet with sand a few times and I usually wipe everything down after removing the parts. The thing you'll have to be careful is water, they tend to sip inside the legs where you twist to loosen it for extension, as that motion might bring water further in. I do say removing everything and putting it back together will do, but it's a 10-15 minutes task - but hey, it's all for keeping the equipment in good shape!

Q: 4. I have been reading the reviews on this case and have noticed that there are a few reviews on the 1450 with dividers. My question is, how have some of you configured the dividers? I would be putting in a NIKON D90 with a 18-105 lens attached, an air blower, a NIKON 85mm lens and a sekonic studio light meter. Suggestion. I want the camera to sit in the landscape position snug but not very tight. Your thoughts and suggestions?

A: You could store the Nikon D90 with the 18-105mm attached in the portion of the insert where the long dividers turn at a right angle, with the Nikon 85mm in front. The Sekonic meter and air blower can be placed in the space above and below the 18-105mm lens.

Q: 5. in travel photography specific to windy spaces, do you have any suggestion a practical way to weigh down the tripod to prevent it blowing over?

A: The tripod has a weight hook underneath the spider which you can hang a bag from.

Q: 6. Will this fit a pro or gripped Nikon body?

A: I love mine with my Nikon D700. It's comfortable even with my 24-70 2.8.

Q: 7. I have a Sigma 150-600mm Sports lens and I would like to know if it would fit in this case and if Not would you recommend a case please? Thanks

A: Terry,I am not familiar with that lens. I would think it would fit but depends on how much other gear you will be placing. I see it with a Nikon D800 with a macro lens and a pretty large macro flash system I have room for my external flash unit and battery charger. Hope that helps

Q: 8. What's the main difference between the PELICAN 1500 and PELICAN 1500N?

A: The N designation means No Foam , the necessary foam lining does not come with the case. This is usually desired when you are having the internal foam custom made to accommodate whatever you are planning to store in the case.

Q: 9. Is this bag waterproof?

A: No, the Lowepro Passport Sling III, is not waterproof.

Q: 10. Does this bag hold a 2020 12.9 iPad Pro?

A: Yes, it will hold a 12.9 Ipad pro.

[1.75 mm] This Teal PLA turned out great. Inky has been out front for about 6 months under various weather condition and no issues. This turned out to be the best looking Teal for Inky.

[1.75 mm] This stuff is impressive. It has a much higher tolerance for printing fine pieces. Its sand-able and workable and much more rigid than PLA. It does have some issues I'm finding joints aren't as well supported because of the fiber content versus plastic but once I engineer the model to accommodate, it works amazingly well.

[Orange] This stuff is fantastic. I don't see much of a difference in color, versus other materials of the same color but this material has had the least number of issues along with the bulk of the prints I have made with it. I tend to like polymaker in general for standard colors and base materials so, I will purchase this again when needed.

[1.75 mm] Polymaker is one of the best filaments out there and for sure the best company out there I can think of. They do so much good for the community so I'm always more than happy to support them any way I can.
This stuff prints like a dream.

[Orange] This took two spools of yellow to create this basketball size Pac Man for my front yard garden. This yellow PLA turned out great and has weathered for about 6 months with no discoloration.

[2.8 lb] Had some other brand ABS+ that was supposedly for high speed printers, but it was warping like mad. I bought this on a whim, and it worked perfectly first time. Have yet to have a failed print with it (knock on wood).

[Orange] This gold is the same as any other, the color is vibrant and the silk effect works well. Polymaker tends to be my go-to for these types of base material colors because the material works well, and I have the least number of issues for the price point.
