[Black] I needed a push-on lens cap for a 77mm variable neutral density filter which has no front threads and cannot accept a clip-in lens cap. I ordered four items: the Kaiser 80mm push-on lens cap (KALC80), the Polarpro (PODFNDR82), the Schneider (SCLC80), and a set of five Sensei cap keepers (SECKL5K). This is a well made lens cap, but it didn't fit an tighter than the Kaiser, which cost less than half. So, I returned it. 5

[0.1 lb] This 80mm cap fits a 77mm Heliopan VND filter. Essential since that filter has no outer threads. This is the only solution I found so I could protect the filter while screwed to the lens. Fits perfect and tight but still wiggles off sometimes. Bought a 55mm for my 52mm Heliopan VND that works great too. 5

[0.1 lb] If you have a B+W 77mm Slim CPL then this is the lens cap for you. Don't make the same mistake I did and order the 77mm cap thinking it will fit over the 77mm filter it does not (I did that and had to exchange it). This lens cap is the same circumference as the one B+W ships with the above mentioned 77mm CPL, but the lip is about 2x longer. This means that the cap covers the entire depth of CPL with room to spare, in my case continuing on to cover up nearly half of my step-up ring. It fits snugly over the filter and will not come off unless I take it off. The cap B+W includes is almost useless since it only covers up about 2/3 of the filter and frequently falls off when doing things as innocuous as picking up the camera. Note: This review likely applies to how it would work with other bands/types of 77mm slim filters, but I cannot speak specifically to those. 5
