Q: 1. What Voltage and Amperage ratings does this strip have? e.g., 125V 15A, etc.

A: It's your lucky day (or night)! I happen to be an electronic engineer. After digging around for a while, I found that the strip is rated 15 Amps at 125 volts. That means you can plug one 15 amp load or three 5 amp loads. In other words the TOTAL load ON THE WHOLE STRIP cannot exceed 15 amps. Hope this answer helps.

Q: 2. Can this be carried in a 28 suitcase if taken out of the box? What are the actual dimensions?

A: Straight out of my box, it measures about 35 in.from end to end. Somewhat similar to a large umbrella. When opened it is 28 28. across. Height is approximately 24 in. when standing on a surface in an open position, dome downward.

A: This Medium Apollo will pair nicely with the AD200. I would suggest using it with the bare bulb in a rear facing position to maximize the spread of light in the modifier. The size of the AD600 and therefore the fit inside the box may not make it ideal unless you use the accessory H600b remote head.

A: The two mounting holes(slits) are about 8 large, with about a 2: space inbetween them.

Q: 5. can i use this soft box with my spyderlight td6?

A: The TD6 is not a good combo with the 28 due to the size and configuration of the head which may cause the lamps to come in contact with the Modifier. The Apollo Orb kit or the JS Apollo with an added medium to heavy duty stand will work with the TD6 but the shallow soft boxes designed for use with the TD6 heads is the ideal combination.

Q: 6. Will this softbox work with an optical trigger? Since the flash is enclosed I was not sure if it would prevent the transmission of the signal from camera to flash.

A: Honest answer is: I don't know. I use the 10m(33ft) cord that Syl Arena recommends. It allows you to control the OCF from the camera's menus. Don't use a curly one, you will pull the light stand over!

A: The difference between the Whirlwind THS 3 Talkback Headphone Box and Sports Announcer Console with Left/Right Headphone Volume Controls and the Whirlwind THS 4 Talkback Headphone Box and Sports Announcer Console with Individual Input Volume Controls is the way the signal is routed and how the rotary controls affect the signal. On the THS 3, the left volume control is used to adjust the volume of the left earpiece and the right volume control is used to adjust the volume of the right earpiece. The controls on the THS 4 are used to adjust the input volume levels for input 1 and input 2 before the signal feeds to the input assignment switches. The controls on the THS 3 affect the volume level after the signal passes through the input assignment switches. The input assignment switches for both the THS 3 and THS 4 allow you to configure the routing for the two channels and select whether the audio signal is sent to the left earpiece, right earpiece, or to both earpieces.

A: Absolutely you can use this with a strobe as well as a speedlight! It is made easier though if you purchase the Westcott Appolo Mounting Arm as well, since the strobe can mount to the arm then stick out the bottom of the softboz allowing access to the controls on the back of the strobe. Without the arm, the strobe is completely inside the softbox which means you either have to reach up through the zippered compartment on the bottom, or pull off the front diffusion panel to change your power settings.

A: The Aputure Light Storm LS 60x Bi-Color LED Light BH #APLS60X does not have an umbrella port so it cannot be used with an apollo softbox which mounts via an umbrella shaft.
