A: No, the Tilta 15mm Rod Holder for Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro & 6K G2 is only designed to be used with the cage for the battery grip attached.

A: Just as long as you use a Gold Mount Battery with it, yes it can. This has a D-Tap Accessory Part that you can use with the power cables included with the Nucleus-M.

Q: 4. If you already have the Canon brand DR-E6 dummy battery, would you be able to plug that into this, or must you use the Tilta supplied dummy battery?

A: If you have a Dummy Battery with a D-Tap connection you will be able to use it with this system. It does not need to be a Tilta product.

Q: 5. Can we use any voltage v-mount battery on this? As in the standard 14.8 volt v-mount, or a 16.8 volt high load v-mount battery or even the 26 volt output v-mount heavy load battery? I can’t find answer for this anywhere. I am sure we can use the 14.8v standard v-mount battery, but I really want to know if we can use higher voltage output v-mount batteries with this plate and if it will still regulate output voltage.

A: The plate is designed for use with standard 14.8V batteries. Normally you would only use a High-load battery when connecting to a camera or product that requires the high load like RED and Arri Cinema cameras.

A: We are not aware that this would work on the Astral Motor.

Q: 7. What B&H pat would you suggest as a connection to a dummy battery for my Sony FX3 and also a new Sony ZV-E10?

A: the FX3 and the ZV-E10 use different batteries therefore need different dummy battery adapters. The FX3 works great with IndiPRO Tools Coiled D-Tap to Sony NP-FZ100 Type Dummy Battery Cable (24-36") (B&H # INDTSA73 MFR # DTSA73) The ZV-E10 works well with the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap to Sony NP-FW50-Type Dummy Battery Inline-Regulated Coiled Cable (22-42") (B&H # INCPTA7S MFR # CPTA7S)

A: Yes, as long as you have the proper power cable or dummy battery for the camera.

[7.2 x 4.6 x 1"] Great little product. It's about the least expensive way to get rods onto a tripod head (or under a DSLR) with any real pro-level strength and stability. I wouldn't use it for a larger video rig, as it's a little light for that, but for a simple DSLR rig, it worked perfectly. We used it with rods, a Canon 5D Mk111, and an Atomos Ninja recorder attached, and it was solid as a rock. Not as solid as a Redrock... but solid, and much lower cost. 5

[7.2 x 4.6 x 1"] Great machining, single piece of aluminum. It's also a standard 1'' ball so it will work with clamps from various other brands. I'm using mine with a Wooden Camera Ultra Arm Clamp. No issues. 5

[Black] Purchased this to replace the stock mounting hardware for the viewfinder on the Sony FS7. This is WAY better and allow you to loosen one axis of the viewfinder while leaving the other as is. Great price and perfect function. 5
