Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. hello when i try to connect via usb to my mac pro nothing shows up. any help?

A: Here are several suggestions with the point to remember the computer wants to read the MicroSD card and not the camera. 1.Make sure the card is in the camera and is properly inserted. 2 Try a different USB input. This is particularly true on laptops and it will need to be a powered USB input. 3. Use a different USB cable; any with the correct connections will work. 4. Try a different computer. 5. Get another MicroUSB card, make sure to format it in the camera and try that.

Q: 2. Does anyone knows how many Frames per second tho it record on 1080?.Thanks

A: It records at 30 frames/second. Quite adequate for any video. If you want to slow down motion , e.g. the catch of ball by wide receiver, then you need higher speed (but those are cameras used by TV networks...).

Q: 3. does this come with a helmet mount and do you have to buy it seperate

A: It does come with a helmet mount. You have better options of action cam now. Check out Gitup Git2 and Sj5000 Elite.

Q: 4. What are the dimensions of this camera?

A: Maybe 3 by 2

Q: 5. Does it expand to hold a phone "portrait" at 6.5 inches?

A: The Magnus DeskGrip Mini Smartphone Tripod (Black) BH #MAMST350B will only allow you to mount it in landscape mode, however, once it is mounted you will be able to rotate the phone to portrait mode as shown on one of the product images.

Q: 6. Is there any performance difference between the SJ4000 silver and the SJ4000 black?

A: There are no performance differences at all between the black and the silver versions. The only differences are cosmetic in nature.

Q: 7. Where can I download the operating instructions / or manual?

A: Try the SJCAM website. The WiFi version is basically the same camera with the exception of WiFi of course.

Q: 8. My sister stole my charger because I would not let her temporarily have it because 4 times i told her not to press the power while recording but she did it 5 times so I have a G or two of locked footage and no charger except a micro USB for my phone, can I use that?

A: In our opinion, you should be fine if you use your phone charger to recharge the battery. On the other hand, you two have probably patched things up by now.

Q: 9. What mounts are included?

A: According to the manufacturer's website, the following mounting hardware is included with the camera:1 x Waterproof Housing1 x Quick Release Buckle1 x Housing Backdoor with Holes1 x Handlebar Seatpost Pole Mount1 x Curved Adhesive Mount1 x Flat Adhesive Mount1 x 3-Way Pivot Arm Mount2 x 3M Adhesive Tape1 x Frame Mount1 x Quick Release Clip for The Frame1 x Vertical Quick Release J-Hook Buckle1 x Universal 1/4 Camera Tripod Mount1 x Tripod Mount Adapte1 x Bandage Set (actually straps)1 x Stainless Steel Safety Tethe4 x Nylon Cable Ties

Q: 10. Has anyone tested the USB webcam functionality of this camera on a Linux system? I'm wondering whether it might be recognized as a webcam device by a Raspberry Pi running the Debian 'Wheezy' operating system. Thanks!

A: SURE, BY MISTAKE I BOOTED MY COMPUTER INTO KUBUNTU 14 10 AND THEN IN FACE BOOK AND THE PERSON THAT I WAS CHATING SAW ME AND TOLD ME THAT SHE COULD SEE ME.

[2.27 lb] This stuff is fantastic. I don't see much of a difference in color, versus other materials of the same color but this material has had the least number of issues along with the bulk of the prints I have made with it. I tend to like polymaker in general for standard colors and base materials so, I will purchase this again when needed.

[8 x 6.8 x 3"] This material is one of my hands down favorites. The color intensity is truly a charcoal black. To me, it beats all other silk materials because of its light diffusing properties. Its rough to the touch and doesn't have the dry time CF does. Fantastic material and I will keep buying it again and again

[8 x 6.8 x 3"] This item arrived quickly from BH Photo. It was packed well with no damage. The storage box is large and can allow 2 1kg rolls or one larger roll to be stored. It has a nice dessicant storage space and humidity guage. It is a bit pricey since you can also get a heated drier/storage box that is less money now days. I just wanted a box without the cord attached.

[8 x 6.8 x 3"] This gold is the same as any other, the color is vibrant and the silk effect works well. Polymaker tends to be my go-to for these types of base material colors because the material works well, and I have the least number of issues for the price point.
