This shock proof cartridge features broad compatibility with a wide range of servers and operating systems, internal or external, and is interchangeable in any HPE RDX Removable Disk Backup System. It is also compatible with other branded RDX backup systems.

The cartridge allows for backups to be accomplished with standard Independent Software Vendor (ISV) or Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software. The HPE RDX Removable Disk Cartridge is based on removable disk technology that handles and operates like traditional tape media, yet has all of the advantages of a disk backup. The Cartridge allows for backups to be accomplished with the standard Independent Software Vendor (ISV) or Continuous Data Protection (CDP) software. The HPE RDX Removable Backup System is offered free with "hands free" HPE RDX Continuous Data Protection Software. If no software solution exists, the data can also be dragged and dropped directly to the rugged removable cartridge. The Cartridge appears as a drive letter to the host computer

Installation is easy and quick by connecting the industry standard form factor RDX Removable Disk Backup System, either internally or externally, to a server or workstation. Backing up is a simple matter of inserting an RDX Removable Disk Cartridge into the docking station. The cartridge will automatically show up as a drive letter to the host computer, with no extra formatting or extra steps required. Simply select the files that need to be protected, and drag and drop them onto the removable cartridge. To restore files, just reverse the process

For advanced automated backup, simple scheduled, or "hands free" continuous data, backup can be performed through support for HPE RDX Continuous Data Protection Software (when used with an HPE RDX Removable Disk Backup System), or other standard ISV and CDP software applications

This cartridge provides a complete backup solution that backs up and retrieves data, thus optimizing application availability and staff productivity. Data can be backed up to RDX Removable Cartridges, at hard drive speeds (up to 360 GB/hour). These cartridges are randomly accessed and read, so critical single files and selected file stores can be restored in seconds instead of hours

Increasing cartridge capacity is done by adding cartridges, to an existing HPE RDX Removable Disk Backup System. This system will work with all current as well as, future cartridges of higher capacity, as they are introduced. The product roadmap leverages the industry standard mobile 2.5" hard disk drive roadmaps, with higher capacity cartridges expected to be introduced, on an annual basis

A: No, data that is written to the Hewlett Packard Enterprises 45TB LTO Ultrium 9 RW Data Cartridge does not require compression, unless you'd like to achieve the higher 45TB capacities the tapes are capable of. Without compression, these tapes have an 18TB capacity.

[100 MB/s] Great printer! I bought this to replace an older HP 1100 series monochrome laser jet printer which was also a great printer. I have an HP laptop and an HP desk top as well as an HP MFP M281 cdw color printer. I am very well satisfied with all of these products. Some of them are quite old but all have given me long term reliable, trouble free service and I expect no less from my new HP LaserJet PRO M15w Printer 5
