The Polymaker 2.85mm PolySmooth Filament 750g Electric Blueis designed for hands-free post processing. PolySmooth is PVB based, which is more hygroscopic than PLA, so it requires a dry box. However, it can be post processed very easily with IPA for a smoother surface finish.

A: If the overall size of the slides are the same as cardboard mounted slides, then yes, they will fit.

A: This lamp requires 230Volts. If you are using 230V then it's the fixture contacts or a defective bulb.

A: Concerning the Logan slide sorter, absolutely you can use a 60W-rated LED bulb instead of an incandescent bulb. In fact that's the first thing I did with mine and it works beautifully. Generates much less heat, too. With LED, you have (at least) two flavors , daylight and white light. I use daylight.

Q: 9. How close does a singer need to be to the mic to be heard? using for voice lessons over zoom/skype/etc...

A: You can be up to feet away if you just want to be heard. The most ideal quality would depend on how loud you are singing and your distance to the mic in relation to that and it would also be best to monitor with headphones plugged into the microphone so that you can hear what it will sound like in the recording. Trying this out will give you the best results.

Q: 10. will this hold slides with metal and or plastic sleeve mounts ?

A: As long as the outside dimensions of the slides are not larger than 2 inches by 2 inches, the Logan box will accommodate cardboard, plastic or metal mounts. I use Logan boxes to store all three of these slide types.
