[0.4 lb] Small, well built, powerful light! I had seen reviews on the Colbor CL100XM and was looking foward to having it, due to its small size, metallic build and bonus features like the bowens mount adapter included and the possibility of using v-mount / Sony Batteries through an optional adapter, which really helps if you need to do real estate on the run, just boosting the light of certain locations that lack natural light or electrical power. I had an issue with the first light that came, wrote to Colbor and they sent me another one, so really pleased with their costumer service. the new one has some minor design changes, so I see they talke note and continue bettering their product.

[Black] This is a review of the Colbor CL100XM. I'm fairly new to the film production world, but I've been around a few blocks with technology and hardware. One thing that strikes me is the cost of equipment. But, AFAIK, the camera can't discern between lights used to light a space. And the CL100XM definitely lights the space! I used the CL100XM on a shoot a few days ago, and got it out today to refresh for writing a review. It comes in a very well-padded carrying case which makes for convenient packing and also for storing. It also includes a well-designed Bowens mount, which is super easy to put on and take off, snugly fits the body of the light and opens all kinds of options. This thing is B R I G H T! I turned it on in my office and at 1% the room was well lit; at 100% it was like high-noon! Levels and effects are easily configured with buttons and toggle dials on the back of the camera, or via the Colbor app. It's also super light weight, and comes with a standard baby mount for putting on a stand. In my experience, yes, the CL100XM generates a little heat, but really not that much, especially compared to other lights that generate the same illumination. The construction feels solid. I like the modular design, too, which provides a series of connecting channels on body of the unit that allow multiple devices to be joined together. It's compact, versatile and easy to use. It ships with a rubber lens cover for even more protection inside the padded case. For the price, I'm very satisfied. This is a valuable asset, and I'll be looking for other Colbor products to flesh out my light kit.

[Black] Excellent product for handholding. I do not like the tripod fast adapter as much, since it is a plastic connection and thus not as sturdy. Overally, highly recommended though. Watch out for not accidentally loosing one of the plastic screws. I lost one while traveling. It is still totally safe to use though. Very comfortable.

[0.4 lb] Initially, I encountered a problem with the unit discharging slowly over time (a week or so). But then I found how to turn it off so It fits not discharge. I'm not sure if this is only my unit phenomenon, but if I press the silver button fast 2 times and the dot lights turn off, the unit completely turn off and does not discharge.
I love the fact that I can charge this battery fast at 97 watts.

[0.4 lb] A lot of online reviewers have compared the COLBOR CL60M with the amaran 60D. I’m always looking for ways to save space and weight when traveling by air, so I purchased both lights. Here’s my take:

The COLBAR is smaller and I think a little better built.  I do wish it had a standard ¼” thread for mounting rather than a proprietary fitting, but it’s basically a Nato rail on the sides and hot shoe slot on the bottom so reasonably easy to adapt something if you don’t want to use the included (and rather clunky) stand adapter.

Other issue is that the COLBAR doesn’t include a battery plate while amaran does. Battery plate for the COLBAR is extra which makes
the two light basically equal in cost.

Neither light has a provision for mounting an umbrella which is odd
since it would have been easy and cheap to add a hole to their equally clunky stand adapters.  COLBAR does offer an umbrella mount adapter that slides into the side rail. It sounds like a rather elegant solution, but it’s a special order item at B&H and mine hasn’t arrived yet.

Personally I like the COLBAR better, but you can’t go wrong with either
light.  Both are pretty amazing considering their low cost.

[Black] This handle is an absolute must-have! I bought this handle because it allows you to get a good grip on your camera and the wrist cord makes me feel safer and more confident about my hero 5 black. And as a bonus it floats!! So you don't have to go 'round buying floaties. Pricey though, but totally worth it. Good job GoPro!

[Black] Small and inexpensive, but powerful! The color and brightness adjustments are easy and precise, and it's very bright! I also like that I don't need to have a phone app to operate it like other lights at this price. It's totally optional. The carrying case fits everything perfectly, and the Bowens mount makes it adaptable to a wide range of high quality softboxes and accessories. The mount is solid and sits well on every light stand I've attached it to.

[0.4 lb] It’s interesting how we can be used for other things as well. But it works well as a stand, and it works well as a connector to other devices because it has a screw at the bottom which allows it to be mounted to anything. It’s also easy to travel with..I purchased two so thank fully I’m looking to use them daily along with the light . This was the first time I’ve ever seen something that arrived to me so quickly. I did not order any express shipping at all and two days later it was delivered to me. Thank you very much thank you thanks a lot thank you thank you thank you. I

[0.4 lb] I already had the Colbor W60 and it was a good light, but initially I had several that I could use with an alternate power source. I just hadn't decided which to go for.

In the end I opted to stay with Colbor and decided to get the accompanying power grip. I was a little surprised when it arrived as it was much chunkier than I expected. It's a beast!

It attaches without issue and a power cable comes with it so it's easy to get going once the grip has been charged.

Although chunkier than expected it is comfortable to hold and use and it does make a world of difference. I use the Colbor for quick and dirty extra lighting without the need to use power blocks or light stands. Having said that, you could mount the grip on one if needed.

Overall, a great power grip and highly recommended.
