A: This is a quick release adapter for instantly attaching mini tripods and monopods to the WEEBILL LAB, WEEBILL-S, Crane-2, or Crane Plus handheld gimbal stabilizers. It will support the weight of that stabilizer plus whatever camera they can handle.

Q: 6. Can this item be used universally on other gimbal makes? DJI etc?

A: Yes, as long as they have 1/4-20" threads.

Q: 7. Does this work with the AF 100?

A: Sorry, there no affordable motorized zoom lenses or controls for the AF100 because the zoom lenses available for it are either not motorized or do not have motors that can be connected to wired remotes. If you are looking for a MFT camcorder that has wired remote zoom, you might consider the DVX-200. It has a built in Leica zoom that can be powered by a VariZoom for Panasonic cameras. With that camcorder, you can use the VariZoom Rock-DVX & VZ-PFI Studio Setup.

Q: 8. We have a kit similar to BH #BLURSABCCPLK with a Fujinon LA16x8BRM-XB1A. Will this kit give us control of this lens's zoom and focus?

A: Simmod says the thread size of the mounting point on the foot of the Simmod ARRI PL to Sony E Cine Pro Adapter is 1/4 20.

Q: 10. will this fit the 1637 air case?

A: No, I'm sorry but this will not fit the 1637 because the dimensions of its lid are different from those of the 1630.

[Blue] Do I really need this ? Absolutely, no! But I love Simmod. I love modding my own lenses. And this mat helps keeping everything organized. I'm happy with this mat. You can tell the quality the moment you hold it. Next, Simmod LPL to L mount adapter. 5

[Blue] I've tried a few different PL mount adapters of varying prices from low to high. I can say with certainty that this is one of the best I've ever used. It has great machining, tight tolerances with no play when locked in. The lens feel supported and secure with the handful of lens sets I've tried. I have used other Simmod products in the past and have been happy so far with the quality of everything. I highly recommend giving this a try. 5

[Blue] I own 5 of these and they are all worth every penny. I have some tilta rubber ones that are inexpensive and get the job done...However, these simmod focus gears are superior and I love that they come with different rubber inner rings for a variety of fits. 5

[1.89 lb] I own (and love) my newer Blackmagic Design 6k camera with full frame sensor and Leica L mount. I also have a number of wonderful new and old Zeiss PL mount fixed cinema lenses. (18mm - 200mm) So when I saw this adapter for sale at B&H, along with a good review of it, I took the plunge. I am not disappointed. With this adapter, a fairly heavy Zeiss lens with ARRI PL mount, like their CP.2 25mm for example, hangs off the Blackmagic camera with no discernible wiggle. The lens goes on and off a bit tight, but hey, that's what I wanted. It looks great too, with excellent machining and black surface coating. Note that — nothing to do with this excellent adapter itself — my oldest 1970s vintage Zeiss Super-16 lenses, while still producing great images, do vignette at the image corners, from 9mm to 16mm when the Blackmagic camera is set to FF 6k, exactly as I expected. But I could not have verified that without this Simmod adapter. Note also that simply changing the Blackmagic camera setting to capture a more restrictive Super-35 4k size, allowed more of my older PL mount Super-16 lenses to be used. The lens coating on those older Zeiss is not quite as nice as the newer CP.2 or CP.3 but still hard to see much difference in most lighting conditions. Again, this Simmod adapter allowed me to test all this. 5
