The frame construction makes attachment of the screen material easy and intuitive. From the front, all you'll see is a half-inch black Velux border, providing a crisp, sharp image. The back hides all the material, leaving a clean and tidy finish.

The new Flush-Mount bracketing system makes hanging the Balon screen quick and easy. The brackets are made to keep the back of the screen's surface next to the wall. With the tight fit to the wall, there is no worry about optional LED lighting washing out the image on the screen.

[StudioTek 100] This screen looks beautiful, is simple to assemble, and is an amazing value for the price! I couldn't be happierwith it. The frame looks clean and professional, and the screen is perfectly smooth- no awkward stretch or wrinkles.

My only critique is it's a little difficult to make the corners align perfectly. I ended up with maybe half a millimeter gap on one corner, but you would have to look very closely to notice that. Otherwise the design is flawless. Impressively well engineered design with a minimal number of parts.

I almost never leave reviews for products, but I am legitimately impressed with this product. I wouldn't want its lack of prior reviews to dissuade anyone from trying it out.

[Front] WORKS VERY WELL IF YOU HAVE THE BENRO ND FILTER SYSTEM IT PROTECTS THE FILTER IF IT FALLS

[StudioTek 100] Using this with a Sony VPL 365ES. Nice combo. My only thought is I wish it has a masking option.....

[1.0] Had a cheaper screen before and this one definitely brings out the quality of the Epson projector. Assembly was straightforward and without a hitch. Works well even with a fairly light room, and very crisp with movies I the dark. Looks nice when not on. Arrived much faster than promised direct from the manufacturer.

[All Four Sides] Same review as for 100x150mm magnetic frame.

Magnetic filter frames in magnetic holders are great in the field. Easier to adjust, and click onto the frame, rather than having to slide a filter into the frame, and make sure that it isn't cross-threaded. It's just that you already have all these great (and expensive) filters...

Being able to convert all your current filters to a magnetic system is brilliant, and plus you have something to grab and don't feel like you are putting fingerprints everywhere, etc.

Except for the part where you actually have to put the frame together, which is a royal pain. When people say it's a bit fiddly, my experience is that it has been near impossible to get the side bars to click into the top section. The little hooks are too big to fit. And if you don't get them to click in, then at some point, the top bar is going to separate from your filter, and then it's hard to pull out of the filter bag, etc.

This is the way that I have been able to make the frames (YMMV): I use a pair of needle nosed pliers to gently squish the little hook, which allows me to click the hook into the side bar, and once the 2 side bars are hooked in (make sure the stars are on the same side), then I slide the filter in (after removing the paper off the 2 sided tape (fine forceps work really great for this). Repeat the bit with the pliers for the bottom section (though the hooks are a bit smaller, it's still difficult to get the hooks to catch).

Enjoy using your magnetic frames in the field!

[All Four Sides] I had a Stewart filmscreen in my old house media room and LOVED it. Had it for 11 years when it was cutting edge to have an HD projector and 110 screen. When we moved I was looking forward to getting another great screen but was worried about the price. The first one cost a bundle. Then I found these CIMA screens. Stewart quality and amazing appearance for an incredibly competitive price. HIGHLY recommend.

[Yes] These frames do the job perfectly. I needed to adapt some Lee filters for use with a very wide angle lens and the 100mm H&L magnetic K-system was perfect for the job. In a couple of cases I cut down a 100mmx150mm frame but you have to superglue the cut joints as you also will have to cut off the hooks and you need to be very accurate with your cuts.
Works perfectly as intended. Please make more of them.

[1.0] The Black cloth is extremely soft and thick. It gets the job done.

[StudioTek 100] I love the magnetic filter holder system by H&Y. I can use it with my Nikon 14-30mm S lens with no vignetting at the 14mm end. My only complaint is that the magnetic frames are a little difficult to assemble
