This A3 PermaJetUSA Baryta Rag 310 Inkjet Paper A3 25 Sheetsfrom PermaJetUSA Baryta Rag 310 Inkjet Paper A3 25 Sheetsfeatures a 100% cotton base with a very finely textured natural white satin surface finish. It features a basis weight of 310 gsm, a thickness of 0.43mm, a whiteness of 95.1%, and is both instant drying and water-resistant. The paper is also archival with no optical brightening agents (OBA) along with being acid free.

Q: 1. Is this paper compatible with an Epson 9000 printer?

A: The Epson Stylus Pro 9000? Yes it would be compatible.

Q: 2. Will this paper load into an Epson P800 with the roll paper feeder?

A: Yes, the Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper (17" x 50' Roll) should work with the Epson Roll Media Adapter for the SureColor P800.

Q: 3. can I use this in my laser printer?

A: It is not recommended for laser printers, nor made for them. It will work with both dye and pigment inks on an inkjet printer

Q: 4. Is this paper printable on both sides?

A: The manufacturer, Hahnemühle, applies a coating for printing on one side of the Hahnemühle Photo Rag Bright White 13 x 19" Paper (310GSM, 25 Sheets) (B&H# HAPRBWSB25). This is therefore listed as single sided for the purpose of printing as the best results can only be obtained printing on the coated side of each sheet.

Q: 5. Is the finish completely smooth or is there a texture or stipple pattern? Canson's Infinity Baryta is almost completely smooth which makes the paper look like RC paper.

A: Slight texture and it very much has the look and feel of a traditional fiber paper ... definitely not like RC. To my eye the paper is slightly warm. It prints beautifully, both color and B&W, and has become my primary exhibition paper for my personal work.

Q: 6. Dual-sized for printing?

A: Yes the Moab Entrada Rag Bright 190 Paper is double sided so it can be printed on both sides.

Q: 7. Is the paper grain parallel to the short side or the long side? Apparently the label is marked GS if it is short grain.

A: There is no way we can know in advance what batch we'll get from Moab, but yes if it has a GS it will mean 'short grain'. Moab cuts the paper from a roll & it depends how they slice it up. Although the paper is smooth people that want to fold the paper (i.e. for cards) would be very specific in the grain direction so the paper folds smoothly.

Q: 8. Will this paper work well with with an hp printer?

A: Moab Entrada Rag Natural 300 Paper is too thick (22.5 mil) and too heavy (300 grams per square meter) to safely print on most HP printers. The only HP printers that were able to handle such papers were the HP Photosmart pro b8850 and the HP Photosmart pro b9180 printers and HP printers 24"and larger that take a 3"core.

A: The Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 Paper features a 100% cotton fiber base and no optical brightening agents for maximum longevity. Yes, this paper is archival.

Q: 10. Canon Pixma printer compatiblity? No ICC profile available from Moab. How do prints look with Pixma?

A: PIXMA represents a large line of different printers from Canon. For best results, choose a profile that's closest to the type of paper you're using. [Satin/Silk] I've printed on a lot of high-end ink-jet papers over the years, most of them were very, very good, but the Moab Juniper Baryta Rag 305 became my go-to paper a long time ago. It's excellent for color and b/w work, the surface most closely resembles the air-dried printing papers I used in the darkroom. Absolutely gorgeous. 5

[Cotton Rag] I had high hopes for this paper when I purchased it. I've had high hopes before and been disappointed with printing media and printers. This paper was outstanding. The depth of the black and whites I printed feel are the same as darkroom quality. The paper feels amazing and the images are complemented by the incredible surface of this paper. Each print belongs in an art gallery. A+ 5

[310 gsm] I have evaluated this paper and I am pleased with the image quality with deep blacks and bright whites. I recommend it to everyone to try for themselves. It is less expensive that other papers in teh same category. 5

[Single] I purchased this to print double-sided fine art tri-fold pamphlets. I tried some koala brand gloss double sided 13 x 19 paper and it was terrible and for only $10 more this oyster paper was a world better! I highly recommend it. It folded very nicely and I was able to get very color accurate prints. 5

[95.1%] I've only printed B&W so far but that is what I usually print. The prints look fantastic. I like the feel of rag papers. The surface has a sheen when viewed from an angle - not a glossy surface but not like a matte paper. When viewed normally the surface disappears and the print looks great. Nice deep blacks but not a glossy paper. Recommend it. 5

[25x Sheet Paper] Whether in B&W or color, I use this now for finished prints. Great feel and just the right amount of luster. I have many different papers on hand, but find this very pleasing. 5

[Single] This is one of my favorite papers. I use it mainly for color, but does fairly well with bw. The surface is very nice, I find moab's colorado sattine to be a thinner 'luster' version of the Juniper. (also like the colorado) Moab's profiles are always on point with my canon pro 1 and they perform better than the profiles I made with my color munki. I've used a lot of Moab's products and they've never failed me. They might not be the most exceptional paper out there but between quality, consistency, profiles, and cost, you can't go wrong. I will be using Moab's products for a long time. 5

[310 gsm] Moab Juniper is the absolute best medium I've used for printing my fine art photographic images, and because it's an expensive option, I was delighted to be able to buy it from B&H at a significantly lower price than other dealers charge. B&H delivered my order quickly. It was packed in an oversize box with wrapping materials that assured it would arrive safely. I appreciate the care that was demonstrated. 5
