This 54" x 100' roll of HP Backlit Polyester Film 54"x100' Rollfrom HP Backlit Polyester Film 54"x100' Rollis a display material designed for backlit setups and use with latex inks. This film has a polyester base with a matte surface finish that will provide sharp, vibrant imagery. It also features a basis weight of 285 gsm and a thickness of 8.7 mil. Other characteristics of this material are an opacity of 77%, a brightness of 86%, and a whiteness of 115%.

Additionally, the film is water resistant, instant drying, and comes on a core size of 3". It will last for 2 years unopened and can be either hot or cold laminated immediately after printing.

It will not absorb dye or pigment inkjet ink such as the ink of the Canon imagePROGRAF TA-30 Large Format Printer (B&H# CAIPTA30) and is therefore not recommended for use with that or any inkjet printer.

Q: 9. Can This Vinyl be used with a Canon iPF 780?

A: Yes it can be used on the (38) , but you would not get the best results from the paper as they do not have an ICC profile for you printer.

[1x Film Roll] Have printed on smaller sheets of Canon's Glossy Photo paper for quite a few years. Just recently got the IPF5100 Canon printer. Printed some 17 in panoramas recently, and they look great. I'm very happy with the results. They look great. 5

[28.1 lb] This poster paper works great with my poster maker. I really like that they don't put tape on the roll itself. They use a piece a paper to wrap around the roll, so I'm not wasting paper cutting the tape off like other companies do with their poster paper rolls that I've ordered from. 5

[Polyester] I have used this paper to make outside poster for a non profit organization to advertise their programs and lecture. It has held up very well in all kinds of weather including rain and wind. I am using it with the canon 6400 printer. The ink has also done very well in the rain. It gives a high quality look to the posters as if they were professionally made. 5

[Polyester] I purchased this material to print large scale images on for an upcoming show. The texture of the printable size is matte enough and light passes through the film extremely well. If you're interested in having light pass through your prints, this is a really great material to purchase. I was unable to locate an ICC profile for it, but I'm making my own. 5
