A: Yes these are recommended drives for the NVR

A: This was one of the hard drives my NVR manufacture recommended. It has worked exceptionally well. I would highly recommend it but Im afraid I cant answer your question. Perhaps a computer tech would provide an answer. B&H is an excellent company with great customer service.

A: It should work fine. This drive is used in surveillance equipment that is on 24-7.

A: This is regular BARE drive. If your DVR requires some special embedded software, you need drive from manufacturer of DVR. It works for most of the DVRs I use for.

A: Yes, you must format it. I have an NVR and its manual states “After installation, you must format the hard drive in order to use it with the system.” If you’re switching out an existing HDD you should be able to use the existing power and data cables; otherwise, you will need to purchase the cables separately.

A: The Itoya Midtown Bag Large Format Artwork Carrier (14 x 21", Black/Blue) is intended for prints and artwork pieces that are flat or thinner than canvases. It would not be an ideal carrier for multiple canvases.

A: I believe yes. I have an older Samsung DVR that came with a 500 meg hard drive. The new 1 terabyte drive worked perfectly OK right out of the box.
