This 2' Chameleon 2-SE Pixel RGB LED Tube Light 2ftfrom Chameleon 2-SE Pixel RGB LED Tube Light 2ftis a versatile RGB LED tube light for still and video applications, plus live lighting events. Built-in lithium-ion batteries make it portable and easy to position in places in which other lights may not fit. It offers 14 light effects and 16 pixel-based effects. It can be remotely operated using a free Bluetooth app for iOS or Android, using wireless or wired DMX, or by using a separately available adapter cable. It has a 1/4"-20 mounting socket on each end and includes a D-ring mounting screw for each.

[20 VDC at 2 A] I shot a sci-fi short last week and we planned to use a lot of tube lights as practicals. However, the rental house in the area didn't have exactly what we needed and our lights needed to flash red for a specific scene, so I rush ordered four of these. They worked great! The battery life lasted over 6 hours at a low power setting, which meant we had time to charge them during lunch. The high CRI means the light is clean and the app enables you to have detailed control over each bulb, which was helpful the day we needed to fly these above an 8 by. My only complaint is that the app is a bit buggy. You can't control multiple bulbs at once. To disconnect from one and connect to another, you have to exit out of the app entirely. A bit of a pain, but what can you expect for $300? They do have the option of control with a DMX board, and I assume then you'd be able to control all four at once. Other than that, great lights. I'd recommend them to anyone. 5

[18 W ] Great product, super versatile. Mainly used to light the background of my Youtube setup is really nice for my model shooting as well. Highly recommended to download the application to control it . Sturdy built comes with a nice bag for easy carry and clamps to attach to a tripod easily 5

[18 W ] I’m a videographer in Miami. This is a great light, hast a lot of built in effects and the battery life is very high. The only downside is that’s it take forever to charge, but, you can alway use it plugged in if you’re running out of juice. The other thing is that it doesn’t have a 1/4 inch mounting point in any extreme, but if you have an extra light stand, problem solved... the app is OK, you have to open the app PRIOR to turning the light on. The first time takes a bit to find the light, but once it does, it connects really fast. Keep in mind, it’s a Bluetooth app, so you need to be close to the light at every time, or it looses connectivity. Overall I think it’s a GREAT light compared to the Astera or the PavoTubes, it’s very inexpensive and will bring a lot of production value to your videos. 5
