This Simmod SIMTray 4 x 5.65" Adapter 86mm Filterfrom Simmod SIMTray 4 x 5.65" Adapter 86mm Filterenables you to add a 86mm round filter to your 4 x 5.65" matte box. Compatible with industry-standard matte boxes, this anodized aluminum tray is 4mm thick and has rounded corners that mimic the size and shape of a glass filter. Note that vignetting may occur when using the SIMTray adapter with wider lenses.

A: The Heliopan 86mm Long Metal Lens Hood is incompatible with the Sigma 50-500mm f/4-6.3 EX DG HSM Autofocus Lens for Nikon AF-D. The lens hood for this lens is no longer available.

A: The ARRI Triple Filter Tray is only compatible with the SMB-2. You will need the Anti-Reflective Frame for clip-on matteboxes as the SMB-2 has the tilting function. A: The NiSi Cinema Filter Pouch for Seven 4 x 4" or 4 x 5.65" Filters' Velcro straps are intended to help secure the filters inside of each pocket of the pouch, and to my knowledge, there are no patches or labels in production that could be used to mount to the Velcro straps. You will likely have to come up with a custom solution if you are wanting Velcro labels to mount to the pouch's Velcro straps.

Q: 7. So it is not clear if the system car received 44 filter? Do you sell a 45.65 adaptor?

A: The Tilta 4 x 5.65" Stackable Filter Tray for Mirage Matte Box is designed to work with 4 x 5.65" filters. It is not for 4x4 filters.

Q: 8. How deep is the hood and does it have coarse threads (86 x 1)?

A: BandH asked me to comment cause I bought an heliopan 62mm long lens hood a while ago to replace the behemoth hood that came with the Tokina 300mm/f6.3 catadioptric lens. The hood has strands of fine hairs implanted inside. I could foresee no doubt they would start shedding as time goes by due to glue deterioration and thats something I didnt want to see to happen.A long story short, I narrow down to three sizes to consider; 58mm, 62 and 67. I wanted to know their ?, thread pitch, overall hight, and hight of the screw section to make sure I wont get any vignettage in using it on the lens. Inquiries to BandH turned out to be futile. I was told since their distributor didnt have them in stock they couldt take measurements.I wrote to info(at)heliopan(dot)de asking for the info on the 62. They shot an email back to me alright but their answer was obviously too simple and totally wrong. They gave me 20mm as its hight. Thats it. Thats all the answer I got. The name of the person who responded was german and he had an engineering title of some kind. So, I assume they have to understandably safeguard ANY proprietary information as much as possible to make copycatters their life harder. Look at how Jos. Schneider Optische Werke GmbH, for example, package their products to show they are genuine Schneider products, not copycatted ones !!!MY SUGGESTIONS :I assume for the size the pitch is PROBABLY 1mm but for accuracys sake ask BandH. If they and/or the distributor have it in stock youll have your day. Otherwise write to heliopan and get your fingers crossed. You could be luckier than me. If worse comes to worst you can alway take your chance to see if the Lady Luck might smile at you the way she did to me.I wrote three groups of the numbers; 58, 62 and 67 on a piece of paper. I closed my eyes. I shuffled the paper a couple of times on the table. Still with the eyes closed, I put my index finger on the paper. [0.255 lb] I've tried a few different PL mount adapters of varying prices from low to high. I can say with certainty that this is one of the best I've ever used. It has great machining, tight tolerances with no play when locked in. The lens feel supported and secure with the handful of lens sets I've tried. I have used other Simmod products in the past and have been happy so far with the quality of everything. I highly recommend giving this a try. 5

[0.255 lb] I am using 82mm Smoque 2 filter with 14-30mm S lens for Nikon Z. Very little or no vignetting even st 14mm. It gives a good volume to the background atmosphere without making subject blurry or too soft. It removes blemishes on the face and still maintains sharpness. In my opinion it works better indoors than outdoors. 5

[Black] I own (and love) my newer Blackmagic Design 6k camera with full frame sensor and Leica L mount. I also have a number of wonderful new and old Zeiss PL mount fixed cinema lenses. (18mm - 200mm) So when I saw this adapter for sale at B&H, along with a good review of it, I took the plunge. I am not disappointed. With this adapter, a fairly heavy Zeiss lens with ARRI PL mount, like their CP.2 25mm for example, hangs off the Blackmagic camera with no discernible wiggle. The lens goes on and off a bit tight, but hey, that's what I wanted. It looks great too, with excellent machining and black surface coating. Note that — nothing to do with this excellent adapter itself — my oldest 1970s vintage Zeiss Super-16 lenses, while still producing great images, do vignette at the image corners, from 9mm to 16mm when the Blackmagic camera is set to FF 6k, exactly as I expected. But I could not have verified that without this Simmod adapter. Note also that simply changing the Blackmagic camera setting to capture a more restrictive Super-35 4k size, allowed more of my older PL mount Super-16 lenses to be used. The lens coating on those older Zeiss is not quite as nice as the newer CP.2 or CP.3 but still hard to see much difference in most lighting conditions. Again, this Simmod adapter allowed me to test all this. 5

[6061 Aluminum] Having dealt with adapters over many years, you know that nothing comes close to a PL mount (don't get me started on positive lock EF, not even close... plus even Canon has kicked EF to the curb). LPL now takes PL and makes it literally bigger and better. For whatever reason, changing PL lenses always took a while to get it to sit in perfect for the lock to work, but so far with LPL it's been a piece of cake every time. Maybe that's an added bonus thanks to the rear guide? Anyhow, you may be thinking well the LPL to L is still a click-in adapter to the camera body. Correct, but Ron has created a collar that allows you to bolt the collar down to a plate along with the camera cage, then tighten the collar on the adapter and it's not moving. To be honest, even without the collar, these mounts are super accurate, so very little play with them to start with, but the collar just locks everything down tight. I always hated when using a follow focus (especially a focus motor) and every time you made an adjustment it shifted the lens in the mounts. Even the tiniest bit of movement showed up in the shot, so when you have two weak points, you get a lot of movement when you throw in some torque. With this setup, any movement between the lens and camera is now completely gone. I bought 4 LPL to L mounts and collars, instantly you should realize that is a big investment, but 100% worth it. Every time I use them, they make me happy, so thank you Ron and crew for continuing to push this industry forward!! 5
