[1.04 lb] I got this to use for my architecture photography. It fills the room with soft even light. There are no harsh shadows created whatsoever. I'm using them with my 500w Lowel Omni kit and it has proved to be an invaluable tool in my Arsenal. 5

[1.04 lb] I thought the Impact Boom Arm was my favorite piece of kit before I met the Lantern Softbox. The ease of setup is so amazing - just press it into the ground and hook it to the internal rod and Voila!, you have an instant softbox ready to go in 10 seconds. No fumbling with umbrella holders and trying to not destroy the umbrella before getting it into position. This is so simple and such a great engineering design. My only wish was that there was a discounted two-pack so I could have saved a few dollars. Who knows, maybe they'll listen to their fans over there at Godox!!! 5

[1.04 lb] Was very excited to use it when it arrived, I built a quick lighting setup (attached the godox to my nanlite fs-300b) and I was VERY satisfied with how soft the light was. And I was very pleased with how slim it was, allowed me to put another large diffuser in front of it. Great results for how much I paid. The images attached are stills from a video I took with an anamorphic lens and my LUMIX S5IIX 5

[1.04 lb] I took a lighting class last Spring, where cinematographer taught us to light various types of scenes. He turned us on to the usefulness of China Ball type lights, for interior scenes where you are trying to create a warm, flattering sort of look. I bought a couple of the Chimera Lanterns and have been very pleased with them. Put a dimmer on them, and they have become my go to lights for these types of scenes. Not only do they give you a bright and very diffuse light, but there is something about the spherical shape that is also very pleasing. They can mimic a motivated ceiling light for example. They are not necessarily intuitive to assemble, but once you get used to it, they are not too bad. I'm very very pleased with the Cimera Lanterns. 5
